Seems like it. I would usually think this is a very bad idea but the midfield was so poor last season that maybe it will be a good thing. Who do we bring in to replace them if both go?

I was about to say the same. 
 

If these 2 leave, I think we need somebody of a higher profile. Tchouameni or Caicedo.

If Fabinho goes - Not Lavia

If Henderson goes - Lavia

If both go - Lavia and someone else (or you go all out for the best you can get in that position and just sign one).

Losing a lot of experience in midfield will probably lead to an inconsistent season. Let’s see what happens and who we bring in.

I reckon we should make move for Caecido and a mid 20 year old midfielder. Someone who’s done a bit. Can’t see Lavia at 50 million. That’s a crazy fee.

If that was the intention I can think of better players to use.

I don't really trust the club to adequately replace Fabinho and Henderson. Signing players is our absolute last resort.
