What a wild ride that was! Having fallen behind late the lads were able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat thanks to goals from Endo and Trent to move the Reds up to second spot. Chris Smith is joined by Paul Natton, Dan Thomas and TLW Editor Dave Usher to reflect on a crazy afternoon at a bitterly cold Anfield. View full article
Monday Nov 27: More craziness from the Blues. They’ve got major beef with Sky now as well as the “Corrupt Premier League”. They’re going mad because Sky didn’t show their plane during our game with City. What did they think was going to happen? There are so many reasons why Sky were never going to show it, and every one of them is valid. Firstly, it was City and Liverpool playing. Who gives a fuck that some knobheads with an unjustified beef are making a protest? If Sky show that then they’re opening the door for anyone else who wants to get publicity for themselves. Just because you fly a plane over doesn’t mean Sky have an obligation to show it. …
Chelsea followed up their impressive 4-4 draw with Man City by shitting all down their own leg at St James’ Park. They’re definitely the most unpredictable team in the league. How can you possibly predict their results? Bonkers team. Generally they’ve played alright but they’re crap in both boxes and it's difficult to win regularly with those glaring weaknesses. They fell behind early against Saudi Arabia when they left Isak all alone in the middle of the box and he finished well. Chelsea then equalised in the most unlikely of circumstances. And I mean that literally, because I’d have said there was more chance of the keeper scoring with a clearance from insid…
Thought I'd start a thread on this as a few of you have asked about it. Basically, anyone who has an active subscription should not be seeing any ads at all on the site (other than in house ones for t-shirts etc). Subscribers are ad free, so if you are seeing them it's because of the theme you have selected. Go to the bottom of the page and select TLW Subscribers theme. When that's selected you shouldn't be getting any ads showing. If your sub runs out you'll start seeing them and they won't automatically go when you renew, you'll need to scroll down and re-select the TLW Subscribers theme again. Any problems, either post in here or sen…
I'm all in on the lad. Andy Carroll he most certainly isn't. Second fastest in the champions league this season, just behind Alphonso Davies. Benfica League Matches Goals Primeira Liga 2021-22 28 26 …
So, what do we reckon? I’ll give it two years maximum. He’ll get the first couple of transfer windows free because they’ll want to look like they’re invested in the ‘project’ but the majority of them will still want instant results. Thankfully these days instant results for them would be sneaking into the top 4. What a time to be alive.
2009: Alexander-Arnold is a Liverpool mascot vs Leeds. 2016: Alexander-Arnold Man Of The Match for Liverpool against Leeds. Very good player.
Well that was about as entertaining an experience as it's possible to have on a cold Thursday night at Anfield in the Europa League. To say it was "big coat weather", would be an understatement and both Dan and I (the only Team TLW lads doing the Europa matches this season) duly obliged. Because it was fucking Baltic, regardless of the warm glow of pleasure emanating from a very comfortable 4-0 win that left us as group winners before the season moves up a gear as we head into a very busy December. As expected, Klopp made a selection that looked easily good enough to win the match, while simultaneously resting some of the big guns. The presence of Virgil, Macc…
Work-rate. Incisiveness. Nous. I don't ask for much. This is how it's gonna be. Build from the ground up. The further we go in the Europa League, the more Sunday 2:00pm games we're likely to have. Unless it's a big fixture that Sky want for their Super Sunday slot, we'll be the early game and most likely won't be televised. Having guaranteed top spot in the group thus avoiding the play-off round in February against a Champions League dropout, we don't really need to put any oomph into our last game in Belgium against Union SG. There will be greater focus on the league fixtures up to the winter break in early January. In that spell, we a…
Look what the bitters are selling on their official site... Everton Local/Norwegian T-Shirt - White I'm sure these fellas will be delighted with the new t-shirt... ESCNB - Evertonfc.no
Has anyone seen the bitterness in the bluemoon forums? I stumbled across it yesterday. What the fk is wrong with them? As far as I'm concerned they aren't even our rivals. Look at this thread: https://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/liverpool-2018-19.335013/page-283 Embarrassing.
Lower leagues have begun and there’s less than an hour until the Charity Shield kicks off. Time for a new one.
Deserves a thread with his name spelt properly. We've done well this summer.
I often find that the latest injury news gets buried in the match threads or in threads about individual players....So I thought a thread dedicated to the latest situation on our players with injuries might be a decent idea. Hopefully the forum server has enough bandwidth to cope.... So as it stands.... Luis Diaz: Knee Injury Oct 11: 'Six to eight weeks, we will see. He looks like a quick healer, but we will see. Could have been worse.' Potential Return 26/12/2022 Joel Matip: Calf/Shin/Heel Injury Further Detail Oct 21: 'Everything is going w…
I'd like something decided by end of 2011 to be honest so we can get on with building/refurbishing the bloody thing transfer window out of the window, now let's make a final decision on the stadium before the next transfer window i think they are probably still negotiating a naming rights deal with someone and we will most likely announce we are moving to a new 65,000 stadium but i don't want it to drag on and on and on so i ask you ...when are we likely to get definitive stadium news?
Personally i do not like it. Nothing against the idea but i think its going to fuck up the flow of the game.
Work-rate. Incisiveness. Nous. I don't ask for much. This is how it's gonna be. Build from the ground up. Note the kick-off time. Also note that the game is live on Amazon Prime. A continuation of the hectic schedule this month sees us travel to Bramall Lane to face the beleaguered Blades. They've looked hugely out of their depth in the top flight, having earned promotion under Paul Heckingbottom alongside Luton and Burnley, both of whom also look like raffle winners at times. Sheffield United started the season with close defeats where they at least looked to compete. Since an 8-0 hiding at home by the Saudis, there has been a lot of f…
Welcome to Anfield.
Dominik Szoboszlai: Liverpool in talks to sign RB Leipzig midfielder - BBC Sport Anybody know anything about him?
They bought our club on the cheap knowing fuck all about football, appointed an incompetent amateur to run the club's operations while remaining detached and disinterested thousands of miles away, haven't invested any of their own money into the playing squad, have made no progress with the stadium, hung our manager, players and fans out to dry after they were fucked over by a corrupt FA and then set upon by a shithouse media, and then forced them into a humiliating and unnecessary grovelling apology to our most hated rival who orchestrated the whole fucking thing, all to protect their corporate image. Now, to cap it all off, they sack a club legend and proven winner …
The greatest football manager alive. Absofuckinglutely love the fella. He's conquered all of Europe. CHAMPION OF EUROPE. OUR MANAGER.

Kostas Tsimikas says the secret to his positive outlook is realising what a opportunity it is to be playing at one of the biggest clubs in World Football. Tsimikas who has made 73 appearances for the club since joining from Olympiakos in the summer of 2020 has made a lasting impression on the fanbase and teammates alike due to his ability to fit in seamlessly and connect with everyone. There is literally no ego with the 27 year-old, and what you see is what you get. Being a back-up is often seen as a difficult position to hold in a squad as you can go for weeks without seeing any significant minutes of action. But Tsimikas can see the b…
