  1. 5 goals 6 assists in his first season in the premier league as a 20/21 year old , 19 goals 9 assists in the championship so far as a 21/22 year old. While you'd expect a drop back from his championship figure, as long as you think the output will scale then he's someone to look at for a manager that prizes wingers.
  2. Inzaghi's career is more likely to follow the path of many other Italian managers bouncing around from club to club in Serie A, being linked to the odd club outside Italy maybe taking one at some point. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Milan and Juventus at some point.
  3. He gets 2 solid years unquestioned out of fairness surely?
  4. Slot's system is very winger heavy so unless Diaz want's to go I'd be surprised if they're looking to get rid. Think we'd be looking to add to the number of players who are good one on one if anything. If you could convince PSG to overspend and turn that in to two wingers then maybe.
  5. You're not gonna convince Inzaghi like that.
  6. Either it's one of your requirements or it isn't, I can't pick for you.
  7. Names three managers 2 of which have no experience in this league.
  8. I think distance is pretty universal. (It's post match day training to prevent extended sprints which lead to more muscles injuries instead of doing full pitch work).
  9. Moving up the field with incisive passing and intent, that'll never catch on.

  11. If Trent doesn't wise up he'd better get used to being kicked in the face during the off-season.
  12. at some point you need to start doing background work on potential managers. It'd be suspicious if that was happening at a club with a strong manager contracted to 2026
  13. Was it at the point he'd made the decision privately or the point he told the club he was leaving do you reckon? He probably knew that months after he made the decision to leave that they'd try and force him out by planning for the future.
  14. Either it gives Nunez (and by extension a few other players in a similar position) the kick up the arse he needs or it paves the way for him to get the fuck out of the club. Win win.
  15. Well for a start I don't think it's come from either Edwards or Hughes and is more likely to have come from someone at the club at the time of the decision. Secondly, they're not wrong.
  16. Ignoring the shit 'football bantz' terminology Owen is spot on just like he was around the time of the Brentford goal when he said it was symptomatic of Nunez issues.
  17. Don't think it's that concerning really, if anything the players could do with a 'nobody is safe' style kick up the arse and you're not doing it to Salah. I think it perhaps points to a higher turnover of players in the summer than might have previously been expected if they don't think they can improve though.
