    VAR shit show 19/20

It's pox. You can't celebrate goals properly anymore, sacrificing the reason we watch football in the first place and for what?
  2. No issue with him. Never noticed any particular bias against us.

    Donald Trump

Stacey Maxwell #TheResistance #Impeach · Aug 9 They knew they were rounding up workers with kids who punch a time card. They knew they were not getting gang members or people who travel from place to place and are difficult to track. They knew they were going to take moms and dads away from their children... Fuck me it takes a special type of bad egg to be this cruel.

Man City - the new bitters?

That is a FIFA fine not UEFA. The big one is still to come, based on the last line of their statement they are pre-empting losing that and getting the excuses in early. Either that or they're just trolling UEFA with this quote that they have "cooperated fully with the investigation which has been transparent and evidenced based at all times.”

He made a last man tackle against us last season and got himself sent off.

Klopp is a crazy cunt. This appears to be madness but I guess it's the decency he treats his players with that is the reason the ones that remain would run through a wall for him.

Rafael Van Daar Vart just now on sky " it's funny because in the nation's league I was working on TV in the Netherlands and Harry Maguire was by far the worst player on the pitch and then 2 months later 80m" he says laughing.

We need Spurs Arsenal and maybe Chelsea to win a lot, need them still interested when they face City.

    Alisson Becker

Initial assessment is 4 to 6 weeks, torn calf. Not to bad, his missus can cancel the gravestone anyway.

    Adriàn

Not being Mingolet is huge. Hopefully he not in nets long enough to lose trust of tram mates and fans. The international break could benefit us for once, I don't think he will miss more than 3 league games.

At least we don't have to look at Mingolet. I'd rather 6 months with Adrian than 1 with him.

Man City - the new bitters?

They threatened to tie UEFA up in court for 10 years. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what would happen to media organisations if they misplace a comma. The most prominent dissenters in the media all seem to be based outside the UK which says it all.

    FSG are not shit

https://www.theguardian.com/news/audio/2019/aug/09/in-black-and-white-why-newcastle-united-fans-want-mike-ashley-out-podcast Thought this is the most fitting place to put this. Quick podcast about Mike Ashely and Newcastle, certainly adds some perspective to our "troubles".

    FPL Draft Game

What stood out for me was the lack of centre forwards, once you get past Bobby, Aguero, Kane, Rashford and the 2 Arsenal lads you're already scraping the barrel. Its a long way from the days when the top sides all had 3 or 4 top strikers. Utd and Spurs have children in reserve once they go beyond Rashford and Kane, same with Arsenal if they want to play a front 2. Chelsea have the most but they're all a bit shit.

They did as an negotiating tactic and it wasn't from a club they own. I don't have figures but they seem to do this all the time from their club's all over the planet.

    Summer 2019 Transfer Thread

Manchester City brought in Rodri, Joao Cancelo and then back-ups including Pedro Porro and Angelino. The sly bastards do this shit all the time, they buy a player from a club they own and then loan him.straight away to a different club. They do.it the middle of all the drama when no one is playing attention. €20m to immediately loan someone out is a big spend for pretty much every team in the league bar them pricks.

Chelsea won the net spend cup quite convincingly, £70.90m banked. I'm hearing JW is currently illegally tapping up minors with a view to being banned.

At Spurs they had Eriksen, Rose and Alderwerald waiting to move and they got a phone call from Watford between the 3 of them. Blow to the ego that.

Am I missing someone or they just have Rashford as their only centre forward?

    Summer 2019 Transfer Thread

Just had a gander at all clubs in's and outs, all the drama feels a bit OTT. I actually thought our rivals had improved more than they have, I think subconsciously once Coutinho or Dybala are linked with a rival we automatically add them to their squad, we will facing little Phil 8 times next season. City have lost Kompany and swapped reserve right backs. Also signed Rossi, could, lose Sane. Are they that much better off? If Sane leaves I'd say they're worse off. Chelsea lost Hazard and got Pulisic. No discussion required, significantly weaker. Spurs have signed Ndomdele, don't know how good he is but he's one player when they needed 4 or 5. Trippier is gone and hasn't been replaced, if they sign 1 of the 3 tiny 10s they're looking at then it means Eriksen is gone. Again I don't see any massive improvement there. Arsenal have lost the only half decent defender they had plus Ramsey. They will end up with Tierney, Luiz and Pepe, that is in an improvement but I can't see anything better than 4th. Utd have spent a shed load to stay as they are. Everton have done what Utd have done, if they Zaha they could overhaul utd.

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

I'd sign up for them beating us once if they beat City twice.

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

Top clubs don't let talented home grown players leave unless the players force themselves out the door. Everton have been had, £36m for a player that has scored 6 goals in his career, he will be at Roma in 18 months on a 2 year loan deal with an option to buy that they won't take up.
