  1. Really? It absolutely did.....it changed the match completely. I also can't believe the amount of LFC fans actually supporting an England team, who in the main seem a bunch of gobshites & hypocrites. Bazbollocks...
  2. I think that is England's issue; they over think everything....trying to be far too clever for their own good. That never tends to work in any sport.....keep it simple.
  3. Both the Milan and Juventus shirts are atrocious; what's wrong with proper stripes.....I've still got 3-4 90s Milan shirts...absolute classics.
  4. I'm sure we'll hear the "there's very little value in the January transfer window....."
  5. Can't help but feel the PL/ FA have tried a bit of oneupmanship in being the first to announce postponements; and got it wrong. Similarly, so have BHB in regards to horse racing.... All the travel plans, hotels booked, etc You can bet people will struggle to get refunds.......
  6. Agree with that. Did Ron Saunders take pleasure when they won the League? And then he fell out with the board...... As a kid, I thought that the Ipswich Ipswich team were better, but were in every competition deep into the season, and ran out of legs.
  7. Last week's Freiburg v Dortmund was live on YouTube. No studio show either. All a bit 'budget'. And they haven't bothered with Bundesliga 2 which is normally super competitive.
  8. Agree with this; where is the all action No 8 who scored/assisted, and was prone to yellows, and the odd red card? I know he's playing a different role, but he's like an imposter. There's been the odd flash of quality, but he's far too inconsistent - and too often injured. There is a player there somewhere....but we're not seeing it enough. I wouldn't be disappointed of he went.
  9. And why he couldn't continue playing for Inter; Italian sport forbids the use of them. There have been a few other sports persons who've either moved from Italy, or retired.
  10. Sutton, Savage, etc all the same. Talking endless bollocks... There was a time when 5 Live was a decent listen, and you could respect their analysts, even if you'd occasionally disagree with them. Most of them now are clueless....They should be leaving that to Talksport..
  11. New season, same old story.....teams not willing to have a go v City....
  12. It looked like a poor attitude, and we were surprisingly lethargic. After last season's near miss, many posters said we have to hit the ground running, and win as many games as possible - and be ahead of City by the World Cup. Two points already gone, isn't the best start, and you imagine City will take them apart. However it's one game - lets see where we are after another 5 or 6 games.
  13. Dejan Savicevic - Il Genio. As talented and technically skilled as all the greats; however, he was ill disciplined, and notoriously lazy - which is why Capello didn't trust him. On his good days, he was nigh on unplayable... https://dispensablesoccer.com/dejan-savicevic/
  14. Saw that piece on the Guardian website the other day; it was a hard read...he's really been through it - and one hopes he's finally sorted. Hats off to his family for their support. While out cycling I've seen him plenty of times walking his dogs...
  15. Coldplay; liked by people who aren't really into music, but think it's trendy to do so. They're just a poor man's Radiohead, with far less talent. The same could be said about Ed Sheeran, Adele....and going back probably Dido (which is possibly slightly harsh).
