Just caught up with the rest of the season, the clip show & Super Bowl episodes are dreadful.

 

Hopefully it finishes on a high with “Mac gets his pride on”.

Just seen he finale and its different but in a good way, the final scene was boss.

Its thought provoking and emotional and* I liked it for what it was.

Finally got round to watching the latest season. Other than the Boggs reboot I thought it was excellent and the finale was unexpected, original and outstanding; McElhenney's dedication to that role is something else.

I’m still not sure how I feel about the final scene. The Boggs reboot was the worst episode they’ve ever done. Some really good stuff though.

I've never watched this. Saw a few clips and love watching Danny Devito. Got about 15mins in to episode 1 and was bored to fuck and turned off. Does it get better or is that what it is

It improves 10 fold when DeVito comes into it (start of the second series I think). Definitely worth sticking with.

It’s one of the best comedy shows of all time. Stick with it man. Just power through series one which is only about five episodes then it gets a lot better.

Yep. I also quit on the first episode. Then Rapey gave me the above advice and now I rate it as the best comedy in many years.

Same for me. The first time I tried to watch it I could not get through series 1. I thought that it was tedious and unfunny.

 

Then Frank turns up and the characters have been embedded and boooom. Its all good from there
