    The New IPTV Thread

Oh, so Googling it and pitching up here? Money to be made here, mate. We could have dozens of pounds if we play our cards right.

    The New IPTV Thread

Not sure what happened to the original thread, but I assume you're still with OG? Still running really well for me and those friends and family recommended it to. I think we all just got lucky with OG, they contacted me in a PM on TK that one time and they must have had - at a guess - 20 long term subs out of it? Never did see any commission.

The New Leader of the Labour Party

Corbyn is on his way out, so we probably need a new thread. Who should the new leader of Labour be, what policies should they put forward if they want to win? What really important, is it even policy or is it just a friendly media face and populist sound bites?

    The ‘Buy Nabil Fekir’ Campaign

Does this need it’s own thread? No. Should I have posted it elsewhere? Probably. But here’s the person we should buy to replace Coutinho. I say this after watching literally thousands of seconds of video. People of the World... unite!

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I gave the reasoning. I showed you the post. You said you didn't say a thing, you did, then you lied about it. Again. As ever. I'm done with you.

What a lying cunt you are. This forum jumped the shark long ago.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Fingers crossed, but I just don't see it. And the thing is, the public seem to be even more in favour of it now than then. I fear it's a losing battle on this one. I was talking to one of my German mates about this, and he's quite a forceful guy when it comes to letting his view on the UK leaving the EU be known, and I had to agree with pretty much everything he said except that the reality is that the benefits - and of course, there are some - are being trumpeted and it's working. I just can't see a return. He wants to see a United Stated of Europe lead by Germany... so, ya know, I'm not sure 'bout that one either.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Yep, for sure. Honestly, I’m bored of this entire thing. It’s an argument that has no relevance. We’ve left, we need to get on with making the best of it.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Hahahah. The context helps make my point not hinder it. So… what about the first quote? Exactly as expected. Exactly as expected. There is no point taking to you because even when it’s clear and right in front of you, you either ignore it or don’t admit it.

    Virgil Van Dijk

Part of being a good defender is having the physical attributes to do it. Virgil’s pace is unreal, his physical presence is unreal. For all his ability as a defender, if he was 8 stone and slow, he’d be a fraction of the player he is. The point is, it’s not the icing on a cake so much a prerequisite in the same way somebody with a great boxing brain isn’t going to do well if they’re gassed after two minutes or somebody who is great with a racket but doesn’t have the strength to deal with fast aces won’t ever make it. You need these things to be a bloody good defender in the modern game. Otherwise you’ll get outpaced or outmuscled pretty quickly. We all want him to be a bloody good defender, but that doesn’t mean we should belittle the other attributes.

The guy is a fucking unit, that's for sure. He can really shift, too.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I already did that before I replied, of course. I wouldn't have called you out for telling porkies if I hadn't just read you saying it. Before I share the post, I want you to answer one question, do you know what Ipse Dixit is? Do you realise that you typing 'no' doesn't make it so. You seem to believe that things are true because you've said them. Anyway, in the full knowledge that you'll not actually answer that question, and in the knowledge that you'll now try to pretend that the stated benefits of staying in an organisation aren't reason for not leaving the organisation - as anything will be more palatable than just holding your hands up and saying 'huh, fair enough' - I'll post it anyway, but before I do, why didn't you just admit it? If you think that the organisation makes it impossible to go to war, why wouldn't you just admit that - as you did in the post that I'm about to share - it is one of the benefits of staying in the EU and not leaving it. It's absolutely weird that people box themselves into these corners. I'm actually rolling my eyes at what will be a painful response about how it doesn't mean what it says and how I'm a cunt and yadda fucking yadda. This is all so fucking tedious, Angry. If you think it, just say it. In response to the question 'what are the benefits of STAYING in the EU' which is to say, not leaving (surely, please, just accept that staying is the opposite to leaving when talking about membership of the EU, otherwise just call me a cunt and I can forget this entire thing) you replied talking about the impossibility of war. So to say you've not used it regarding the UK's membership of the EU is - being generous - forgetfulness. You keep doing this. You keep pretending you don't hold positions you clearly do. You do it with Corbyn and you've done it again. Anyway... That's pretty clear, but if not, here's another one.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Oh for fuck sake. Why would you say such a thing. It's so obviously untrue.
  14. Numero Veinticinco

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I was more talking about those on here who make it, like angry. Not sure what the actual remain campaign were saying.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I always thought the anti war argument against leaving the EU was facile. Most of these nations are in NATO and have a incredible levels of interoperability and cooperation because of it. To hand wave that away is probably due to lack of understanding about how these countries militaries operate.

    Yes, they're excellent.

    MCU Discussion Thread (Contains Spoilers)

I think it was good. Well worth a watch. 8.7 on imdb, 92 on Rotten Tomatoes, 96% of google users liked it. Generally well received outside of Paul's view. That's not to say he's totally wrong, but he is totally wrong. I'm looking forward to 'What if...?' now. Sounds like it could be good.

Yep. I thought it was good. I thought the entire thing was good. Not great but enjoyable.

Or her Directorship of P4NE. I was talking generically regarding lucrative careers afterwards.
  21. Numero Veinticinco

    Lib Dems

I think he’s saying her failure as an MP has landed her on her feet pretty well. Surely we aren’t suggesting an undergrad degree gives you the credentials to be a director or professor. So it was her time as an MP. No suggestion she should sit in her PJs, but rather failure isn’t really punishing as an MP so much as a gateway to a lucrative career afterwards.

    Mr Inbetween

This was the exceptional. I really hope they stick the landing next episode. It’s up there with other great shows. I’d happily watch another 100 episodes. It’s such a shame that it’s ending.
