  1. As bad as this looked we have no idea what it was about or what was said. So we are basically going to have to trust Klopp. If Salah crossed a line with Klopp then I have no doubt he will have no problem dropping him for the rest of the season. He binned Sakho because of his attitude and he’ll have no problem doing the same to Salah. It’s not as if it’s day one of the season and he has to rely on him. We need 3 points for Champion’s league and I reckon Klopp would risk getting them without Salah if he thinks he should be dropped. I suspect they’ll sort it between them and Salah will be back for Spurs. Might actually spur him to up his game for the last few games.
  2. Yes, that would have been the sensible way to deal with it but I think these days it has less effect. In the clamour for clicks people would still find an angle on it to foster engagement so perhaps he just thought what’s the point. It’s not just the online accounts either as you can tell from the various interviews with Klopp. All asked him about it and none mentioned the real talking point which was Taylor’s bizarre decision with Gakpo.

  4. The spat on the touchline wasn’t great, looked like he was desperate to get on so maybe was too hyped up. Klopp’s had bust ups before, didn’t he have an argument with Henderson once as well and they were fine afterwards. As long as they both sort it in the dressing room then they can move on but would have been good for Salah to make a public apology for it. Think the ‘fire’ comment looks worse written down than the actual video. On the video it looks more like he’s saying he won’t say anything as the press will blow it up.
  5. Not sure how to embed twitter but this is both remarkable and annoying. Some of Mo’s setups from 23/24 and the subsequent misses. Decent strikers and his assists would be ridiculous. It’s easy to forget how good he is when he’s off form. These misses though! https://x.com/hmz290/status/1783447612039053347?s=61
  6. I was called a dramatic cunt for slagging this midfield off against Atlanta but I stand by it. Not one of them has the balls to take the game on. Safe passes every time. Where's the drive, where’s the urgency. No game intelligence between them. There’s no excuse for being up against a tactical masterclass from the Italians, it’s fucking Everton. Elliot for Jones and Endo for MacAllistair. MacAllastair is unlikely to see the game out. Giving silly fouls away is going to get him sent off.
  7. Not bad team but would prefer one of the 3 midfielders on the bench before Jones. Just think he slows us down. Why not play Endo. Can he not do 2 games on the run.
  8. Imagine the cognitive dissonance of every other set of fans in the country. Us or Tindall?
  9. I’ve got it’s Arne Slot where? there with no hair where with no hair? right there it’s Arne Slot now Klopp’s gone well I declare something something … Klopp on the chair
  10. He’s got them in third but I know nothing about them. Have they done a City and ploughed fortunes in or is he actually a decent coach
  11. Seen mention of Michel of Girona but they're part of City's group I think. Can't see them letting us have him even if we were interested. It's looking more and more like Joey Barton isn't it.
  12. How come Potter never gets mentioned for jobs anymore. Surely he would do a decent job at WHU and without having to pay compensation to Sporting. That Chelsea stint really screwed him. Apart from the millions he picked up of course.
  13. I said the same thing on the other thread. Say you’re staying and all the noise dies down till the season’s over, then decide what to do. The reports saying Edwards is not averse to making a brave appointment might indicate someone else though.
  14. I didn’t realise it was a joke I assumed he made it up for clicks.
