Good points and can’t disagree with that. I just think he’s got the basic skills sorted already. Speed , dribbling and not easily knocked off the ball , very strong for a young and small lad. I just wonder whether it would be better to be in a less physical league where he could concentrate on finishing and skills without having to cope with some grock going through the back of him. I wonder what the likes of Barcelona or Madrid would do with a player of that age and those skills.

Doak could be something extraordinary. His dribbling, speed is great but he’s missing intelligence. Holds on far too long and always takes an extra touch when about to shoot. This could be due to playing with players not as good as him and so trying to do it all himself. So the choice for me is put him in with the first team so he learns to trust others and pass when it is a better option and see how he goes or loan him out. However I can’t see what he’d gain from being in the Championship . I think he’d benefit more from being in a technically good team maybe abroad where he could hone his skills. Not sure what a season in the Championship or lower would give him. Would not sell though as he could be anything

From what I’ve seen he’s not the only player wading in so you’d have to assume they were genuinely worried about their families. If they do get banned then I hope whoever was responsible for crowd safety is done as well. Notice not a single policeman anywhere near all the while it was going on. Could have turned out much much worse.

The main thing I’ve taken from watching these last 2 England games is that Bellingham appears to be a knobhead. Obviously got talent but his attitude stinks and the constant playing for fouls and then getting a titty lip when the ref ignores him is awful. I doubt Klopp would have gone near him even if we had a realistic chance of getting him.

I wouldn't be surprised if this bloke ends up working from home in Holland. He could do the team talk via Teams or Zoom then watch the game live on a dodgy stream and phone his assistant when he wants to make a sub. Jim Ratcliffe wouldn't stand for that but I doubt John Henry will be arsed.

Like night follows day, you know how this goes. At the point they go out the media, pundits, etc will pin the blame on Trent no matter how he plays or what caused the loss.
