Ask KK and SC - they are the ones who tell the players where to go for set pieces.

Set-piece is entirely different to Carroll staying there and playing the ball 70 yards up the pitch. 6 players were in front of him.

Now he's sticking to the left touch line again. Who's telling him to do that?

Kenny needs to change tack and get rid of some players, bringing in superior replacements or he's definitely gone in the summer. No one wants it to come to that, but at the same time no one outside of a 19th century asylum thinks that it's acceptable to spend £100m and end up not paying the consequences if it fails miserably.

He needs to sharpen up tactically, too. Stoke was bizarre and a Gerrard - Adam partnership in the middle?! That's not even a rookie level error.

Stoke was fine, we just didn't have the hustle required for that formation to work but it got us a result against them before.

Agree about the Gerrard and Adam partnership but what other choice do we really have? No Lucas or Spearing for the holding role so he's pretty much fucked there.

Cunt of a linesman with a smile there.

Oh my fucking God. Bellamy picks the ball up on the left of centre, makes a good run forward, there are five Bolton players inside him and a gaping hole. Where is Andy Carroll? To the left of Bellamy hugging the touchline and even then he checked his run to stay behind him so Bellamy couldn't even release the ball to him and look to run inside to attack the space.

Seriously, Carroll can go for me, I've seen enough now. We'd be better off with Carol Vorderman.

See? This is what happens eventually when you continually rely on your away record against the shite little "run like troopers/be in your face/Try all day against you & not at all against any other side" pathetic excuses for teams instead of putting said sides away handsomely at home with much slaughter & shedloads of goals; Or even fucking well Trying to actually. Don't do that? And as you can see - It Always bites you on the arse in the end. Oh yes & as Bolton haven't been able to rely on the "Liverpool Can't Score" rule to get a result today? What's the betting that with their emergency keeper in nets? They'll be beneficiaries of that Other Very well-known & Generous Anfield Charity - The "Emergency/Backup/Reserve/Finished Keepers Shall have a Stormer" against us Collection Fund? I'd put money on it right now but my God our attack needs a rocket up their arse whatever happens. The defence do today as well but as I said? You Can't rely on that holding firm forever since sooner or later? The Law of Averages Will get you in the end & your failure to batter the scum & put them away at Home? Does come back to haunt you. Today looks like it's Our turn for that to happen....Again................

Do you honestly think players just wander around the pitch, left to their own devices, and play without instructions?

The way to create space in the centre for runners to exploit, is for the forward to drop deeper or drift wide - in fact, just like the goal we scored.

Henderson and Shelvey with Gerrard in a slightly more advanced role would be better. Gerrard and Adam as traditional, 4-4-2 style CMs is pure idiocy.
