If you're saying it's a misjudgement on Kk's part, I kind of agree, except for the fact that Carroll does it when he plays for England as well, and the only time he stayed mpore or less central all the time was at newcastle.

 

I don't think Carroll is able to keep up with play and get into the box. I don't think it's some special ploy by Kenny. If it is, then it's fucking idiotic and isn't working.

I'm not sure if you're being deliberately obtuse, or are just missing the point.

 

The fact that Carroll keeps drifting left, and that no-one from the bench has told him to go central, even during half time means he is playing to his instructions.

 

Personally, I think it's a silly idea, but KK is the one who is going to stand or fall by his decisions.
