What are people's opinions on this party? I'm fed up of the Big 3 parties and not quite bigoted enough to vote BNP, and while I voted for the Greens a few times I've concluded they will never win anything and even if they do, will only increase tax to fight climate change. So I need a new party. UKIP's main agenda is for the UK to leave the EU, which I'm fine with. Might make travelling to the continent a bit more tricky but I can live with that. I don't know much about them besides that, and I can't be arsed to read their longwinded policies. What do people of this forum think of UKIP? Would you consider voting for them?

Anyone been? Going for a couple of nights next month for work. The Orioles are away unfortunately so was thinking of going to DC for the day to watch the Nats but other than that I know absolutely nothing about the city.

Some years ago on hols with chums in Malta, I was walking past the doorless khazi and saw my mate sat having a cack. A minute later when I walked past again he was wiping his arse - BUT STANDING UP TO DO IT! Having never seen this before I was disgusted that he did not remain seated to polish his exhaust but he remained adamant that he was in the right to stand and perform this necesssary function. On speaking many moons later to colleagues and friends I was amazed to find that around 70% of blokes stand to clean their bums. I therefore think it fitting to conduct a survey to find out the truth. Please state your prefered method of botty cleaning and why you thi…

I follow a page on facebook thats pretty interesting for science articles aswell as the NASA page which puts out some good stuff. So thought id start a thread for similar things Confirm Homo Erectus Walked Like Modern Humans 1.9 Million Years Ago By Robin Andrews 13/07/2016, 15:48 The excavation of the 2-million-year-old Homo naledi, our most recently discovered human ancestor, shocked the anthropological world when it was revealed that it appeared to bury its dead – a trait previously thought to be exclusive to humans. Now, it looks like another ancient ancestor has just let slip a secret that will change our understanding of our own evo…

Nearly at the 70 year anniversary of the biggest movement of people the world has ever witnessed and many of the people old enough to remember are coming to the end of their time. I've never heard any of my grandparents talk about it and only one is still with us, but nearing the end too. It's almost like a taboo, something that isn't talked about. When you read some accounts it's not hard to see why, like a national stain. Many stories that do come out are harrowing, burning trains, rape, infanticide where babies were snatched and literally thrown against walls. I guess it's more in sharp focus here now because of Brexit and Empire 2.0 and how over 65s appear to …

Have you, haven't you? What have you taken and how close have you felt to touching god Weed (Doesn't agree with me, I don't mind people who smoke it but it sends me weird) Ecstacy (had some of the best nights of my life on it and the closest I got to touching god) Cocaine (shite) MDMA (my preferred drug of choice) Mushrooms (scatty) Acid (if you haven't done it, don't) (but do) but don't Ketamine (sex pest gear) MDMA wins hands down. Mainly because of The Prodigy when I first dabbed. Not done drugs in years but just watching something on YouTube and it reminded me how fucking good life was when I was 20

I tell you what, that Rafael Nadal is outstanding. If Federer wasn't about he'd be talked about as a future all time great. Only 21, never lost a match at the French open & has a winning record over Federer. With Djokovic and Murray playing well, tennis could get good again

I'm like Imelda Marcos when it comes to trainess and being an arl arse, I love my classics. Currently I can be found be found wearing the following: I also have a pair of adidas SL80 in blue and gold that I can't find a picture of. The one thing I really want to buy though is a pair of adidas Tenerife shoes that I had in the mid 80's, those who remember them will remember that they were boss. I also loved my adidas First trackie and my adidas Ivan Lendl t-shirt. Any other 30 something scouse scallys remember this stuff?

This is a long one but a goodie (said the actress to the bishop). Anyway, about 8 months ago me and Mrs W decided that we'd move back into my house but we needed to get an extra room built at the back as a dining room. So we agreed a price with a builder to get a conservatory built. I'd been sort of living out of Mrs W's house for about 6 months, in the meantime new neighbours moved into the rented house next door. I came home one day and found a cable running under once fence through my garden and under the other side of my garden. My neighbour had been into my garden and ran an electricity cable (an internal extension lead at that) through my backgarden. H…

Ok so we've had the roughest pub thread telling us what places to avoid and what places to go for a bit of violent entertainment. However, what pubs would you recommend, either where you live or where you have visited whilst away from home? Some good ones in town, the Fly in the Loaf, Philharmonic, Ye Cracke and the Freshfield in Formby. The Fishermans Rest in Birkdale is nice. even though it's a Wetherspoons the new one in Lime Street station has been done out really well. Went to a decent Micro pub in Crosby called the Corner Post on Friday. The Pioneer bar is decent too. Anyone got any decent recommendations for London boozers which are non pound in the p…

Just finished it, Guy Ritchie series on Netflix. Thought it was brilliant and funny as fuck at times. I've never actually seen any Richie stuff but this was top drawer. The main bloke would have been a decent pick for the next Bond actually but he's cracking on.

my next door neighbour died last year. The new people are a young couple. Two young kids as well. Since they moved in police have turned up once after a domestic (only been here two fucking months) a taxi driver told the Mrs he was a prick and the sort into knocking a woman about. Tonight can hear them arguing, screaming again (which is every couple of days)and it pisses me off as they have such young kids. complained to council about them and hopefully the police informed social services about them.It was that bad earlier I was close to storming around and the Mrs banged on the wall to let them know we could hear them. He seems to be the knob head but having spo…

Not the biggest, not the best, not the greatest in terms of longevity, defences, or titles, but in the 'golden age' of Heavyweights had guts, heart and balls bigger than America. He came from nowhere and made something of himself, as a man he eclipsed Ali and til my dying day I say he was ahead going into the last round in the "thriller". Joe Frazier, should be in the top 30 of all time in terms of ability, in the top 3 when it comes to over reaching talent with pure heart and determination. I met the guy once and as humble as he was, I felt I was I was in the presence of true greatness. The only Boxer I've ever met that I called 'Champ'. Frazier was ace. Discuss. …

I'm hoping this will encourage some discussion amongst the Baahxing fans on here. I was thinking of messaging Remmie Pigs about the idea of a GF Heavyweight Tournament where the agreed 16 best of all time faced off by poll to decide the eventual winner and then I thought there wouldn't be much interest in it. But during a bit of research to see if better judges than me agreed with my list of 16, I came across this document which I thought was a very good read and rated the best 20 named Champions on various criteria and came out with a points system. Anyway, have a read of it and I hope you enjoyed digesting it as much as I did, and once you have read it, discuss …

I’m in Reykjavik next Tuesday to Friday at a conference. I’ve not been there before and so was looking for some recommendations on places to see, things to do, etc. I’m obviously going to try and get out of the city one evening to see the northern lights, although there are some restrictions to where you can go as a result of the volcanic activity. Also pub recommendations for the footy in the evenings please. Mucho go raibh maith agats.
