It's taken me over 10 years to even find a picture of Adidas Columbia, I don't ever expect to buy any unless they reproduce them but here is a picture.

Holy grail found.

Nicely. A Trimm Trab/ Grand Slam Hybrid. They were a mid 90's model and very hard to get hold of.

I've never seen those re-released. The white ones were a Tennis shoe at one time, they had Silver stripes.

Didn't know they did them in the mid 90's, these must be the ones I remember fondly then, would have been 1984/85 :-

I don't know if they're all owned by the same person but there is a huge collection on here :- Fresh sneakers and vintage trainers. IN SNEAKERS WE TRUST!!!

Liking the old school Columbia/Harvard ones. Mine's are the bog standard Superstar silvers.

20-odd years back I had a pair of Robins in grey suede with white. Cannot find a record of them existing anywhere. The nearest I can find are Gazelles. Googling "Adidas Robin" just comes up with ski goggles now.

It only just occurred to me that Harvard and Columbia were named after Ivy league colleges in the states. Funny that a load of scals (self included) used to go mad over them in the mid 80's oblivious of the tip of the cap to educational institutions.
