Good as this show is I am not quite buying into the hype just yet. Already some of you are saying it is better than the Sopranos, come on ffs.

It's good, I'm really enjoying it but at least wait and see what happens before making big statements. One shit ending could ruin the whole thing. Or make it a classic bit of TV.

If you haven't bought into the hype by now you never will.

I can't get the image of Walt Jnr jumping in front of Skylar, calling the cops and Walts face when he does it out my head. It's seriously touched a raw nerve.

That whole scene was classic, the way they were cowering on the floor from him, as you say Walts face, you could see his head was spinning, it was the moment when it dawned on Walt that everything had finally gone to shit, there was only one out left.

5 seasons of Walt cooking meth and it turns out it was all a ruse to hide the fact that Walt Jr is a benefits cheat.

First sign of trouble and he drops the crutches and starts leaping around the room like a Ninja.

For me it was one of the most boring episodes since series two. On saying that it still outshines any episode of any other series around. I also think it has set up the last episode to have the potential to turn out to be one of the greatest tv show endings in history.

I'd have liked to see a double episode to finish it off. As for the show itself:

I think the killing of her in front of Jessie was a fucking quality moment. His reaction was brilliantly acted I thought. Seeing Walt getting sicker, and desperate, and phoning the son - the little bitch - was also really decent. It sets the scene for the final very well, but I thought it was a decent episode in its own right. Plus, the Scottish bird who plays Lydia was looking fit.

That episode was so so so so good again. So much more subtle than the last few but still brilliant. I was actually angry at one scene (the nsfw tag above mentions it in first sentence) and couldn't believe they did it! (then again shouldn't be surprised really) but it was such a gut wrenching moment. The finale is set up absolutely perfectly. Going to be a MASSIVE hole in my tv watching schedule when this is done.

What evidence do the DEA actually have against Walt? The money, which Hank insisted was the only tangible way to tie him to anything, is elsewhere and even Jesse's recorded testimony was ransacked. Am I overlooking something? I also didn't really understand why Saul was running, they really don't have evidence against him. I was thinking possibly Huell, but then there would have been a reference, or even a screen shot of him in a 54 minute episode, surely?

Minor quibbles, because I thought it was top drawer, like a self-contained movie. Beautifully directed, acted and truly unsettling.

Walt whimpering away on the phone was fucking phenomenal, they played extraordinarily, it's a shame that kid can't act. I've always hated the idea of Walt getting caught and much preferred any scenario where he loses by winning; that is that he escapes with his money, freedom and health, but can't see his family - in my imagining, they are dead and it's his fault - so to me that episode was like Christmas.

how do you do that spoiler thing to hide the jesse got shot escaping?

Spoiler tags, mother fucker. Like NSFW tags, but with spoiler written in them instead.

Is it just a button on the full blown site? I pretty much only use my phone (tapatalk more than mobile skin). I only found out what NSFW meant about 3 days ago! Hahaha.

Not sure about the button, I just type the code in myself. Never use that little panel. Get up with the lingo, and down with the kids, Granddad.
