Not sure about the pictures but was reading an article about a groundswell of opinion that the BBC are adding or tweaking some sound effects. Beeb denied it.

They've been 'tweaking' some of the video footage for years,filming animals in tanks,in zoos and even using library pictures. Generally though,the location ones are pretty much on the level. I prefer the location stuff myself.

Was reading an article which showed the nominees for photos of the year.

 

Thought this was fascinating- imagine getting up finding these floating past your house-
