In his defence (well not really), he is being accussed of being unprofessional by a group of people who seem to think that the owners of the New York Yankees would be interested in them because we have the owners of the Red Sox! You can't teach logic like that.

They can't be sold because he has a price and they are not worth it. QPR, Hull, Blackburn, Leicester, Birmingham, Rangers, West Ham, Liverpool, Man City, Wolves and Portsmouth (about 50 times!) have all been sold these past three years. He knows that if he so much as lowers the price beyond what their bitterness expects he will be slaughtered (not ruling out that he is as deluded as the rest of them!). They think they are worth £150m, I suspect he is being offered half of that.

They are running at a £5 Million loss per year, which he pointed out in that Sky interview I seen this morning.

 

£80 million income (apparently) and £85 Million outgoings. That's some shoddy management of the finances that.

 

What they need to do is have a few years of selling off their best players and build from the bottom up. They have a good manager, some good youth players but overpaid and overrated first teamer's (Billyyeahyadiv, Flamini and Arteta) that they could do with unloading.

 

They need to check back into reality first and foremost.
