Loved that second goal from Danns.

Nothing brilliant about it, but he was just so switched on and had that natural instinct to know to follow up in case the keeper parried it. And then the desire to get to it first, before the defender.

Proper fox in the box stuff that comes naturally and can’t be taught.

They’re either corrupt or shit at their job. And no one is that shit at their job.

In fairness Sundays call is all down to the knobheads on VAR . The ref gave the goal and yet as in the Mancs game tonight those blocks are made in every game . Brooks is just a grade one twat.

Danns has that priceless skill of finding the net and being in the right place at the right time..... Fucking love a home grown striker

He has got really good feet too, noticed on Sunday how he didn't snatch a shot he was good enough and confident enough to get it out his feet and shoot.

That first finish tonight reminded me of Owen

Bloody hell, I enjoyed that!

Very lucky not to concede of course, but still so many positives to take from that match! Danns looks a proper goalscorer, and Koumas to me looked a very lively and skillful player, also apart from the goal.

Extremely happy that we’ve got a quality second choice keeper, he’s been important the last week! Thought Gomez did very well at DM, if we really need it he can do a job in there as well in the PL I reckon. The ultimate squad player! Quansah very good again, like someone said above how calm and composed is he on the ball!

Most important job for Klopp now will be to keep the youngsters feet on the ground I guess.

Hopefully a few of the regulars back for Forest, we’ll need it for the upcoming weeks.

Think you’re spot on here. His first will probably get all the attention, but the way he anticipated the second one to be in the right place was the sign of a proper goalscorer.
