  1. Well we definately disagree then, cause I think he is instrumental to the way we play, and if he played more like a traditional 9 it would mean we’d have to change our system completely. Room for improvement on his finishing yes, change the way he plays it’s a big no from me.

    They dont, in my opinion.

  4. Spot on this from Ian Wright, pointing out a few things that many on here have done already, but also quite a few people fail completely to see. That said Bobby could and should improve his finishing, always room for improvement.
  5. Not too worried about that. Klopp dont need it, but maybe both players and nor least supporters may need a reminder that once you drop to 95% in this league you really are nothing special. We are a massive unit first and foremost, and both our attack and defence are very dependent on an extreme high intensity pressing game to be at our very best. We’ve taken big steps the last 12-18 months, and become much better at resting with the ball in the team and killing games off, but we’re still only extremely good when we go full throttle. Also we have a some world class players, but maybe not as many as we think. We need to be as hungry at the start of next season as we were at the start of this, and a few poor results at the end of this one may be a blessing in disguise.
  6. I think yes, we could suffer from this at the start of next season. But over a long season I think having a long preseason for Klopp and his team to work on fitness levels and tactics will only make us stronger. One of the things Klopp does better than all other managers seems to be training and coaching. This along with our excellent nutrition and fitness team will give us an advantage in the long run. Therefore expect us to start a bit slowly, but kick on in Oct/Nov.
  7. You mean they didnt call you?

Decent first half, shit second. Van Dijk, Alisson and Jones played well, the rest average or poor.

    Other Football - 2019/20

I turned 50 this year, but the refs still, in my own eyes it has to be added, look 20 years older than me and in many cases also 2-3 stones heavier. Must be completely impossible for them to keep up with the speed of todays game.

The standard of refereeing is an absolute joke. That United penalty one of the worst decision I’ve seen. And the useless fuckers are totally unable to use VAR to get it right.

Job done without really getting out of second gear for most of the match. We are very much relying on our pressing game, for both our attack and defensive game to work properly. And with the league won it’s impossoble to keep it at 100% I reckon. Happy we won, let’s do Burnley next.

Mane booked, identical situation in the first half and not even a foul. Refs really are piss poor.

I think Williams looks a great prospect, but he really hasnt played alright today.

Not a good half from us that. Been good going forwards for spells at least. And consistently weak defensively, a better side than Brighton probabaly would’ve score 2 or 3 in that half. Bobby, Keita, Henderson, Alisson and Salah have played well. The rest not so good. Ox and Williams have been taken to the cleaners by Lamptey.

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

Think that young lad Gordon looks a decent prospect. But how shit is a central defence of Keane and Mina?
