Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law and one of his closest White House advisers, is registered to vote in both New Jersey and New York, according to elections officials and voting registration records, another high-profile example of how common it is for voters to hold dual registrations.

With Kushner, The Washington Post has now identified four Trump family members or top administration appointees who were registered in two states during the fall election. The others are chief White House strategist Stephen K. Bannon; Tiffany Trump, the president's youngest daughter; and Treasury Secretary nominee Steven Mnuchin, as first reported by CNN.

When I picked Izzy up from nursery yesterday her teacher said she'd been telling the other kids at dinner time that Donald Trump wasn't a nice man because he wasn't nice to girls and America needs a new President. She's only 4.

I love your daughter.

EDIT: Fuck that sounds worse than I meant it.

I'm not a numerical genius, but isn't the financing of this wall really bad for Americans?

It'll initially be funded by their taxes. Then there'll be a 20% tax on Mexican imported goods to recoup the wall outlay. Won't that just mean that the price of these goods will go up because of this tax, and the average American will be out of pocket?

The constant lying is a tactic, isn't it.  When he made his speech to the CIA, he lied about the size of the crowd and he lied about the weather.  These lies, it's fair to say, are easy to spot.  The trouble is, he lies so constantly, that anybody calling out every lie is going to start sounding like an obsessed loony - so when they catch him in a really big and dangerous lie, it's easy for him to dismiss them.

He's only been in office a week and he's clearly unhinged. He's making decisions based on his own random beliefs rather than any kind of factual information, censoring government departments and appears to using Fox News as a basis for new policy. I'll be quite pleased if we get through the next four years unscathed.
