So his idea of playing well is not getting battered and widespread booing from the fans . All that money spent and they never layed a glove on a Bayern team that even according to the Milk Tray men in the studio had at least 3 or more gears to go through.

He's set the bar so low its embarrassing

The same Bayern team (apart from Musiala in for Choupo Moting) that was hammered 5-1 at the weekend

The booing is a turning point. Say what you want about disgusting, manc rats but they stay behind their team. Rarely boo them off and keep singing. Last night seemed to be the last straw.

Have they not been booed off quite regularly after home defeats this season?

Slabhead and Shaw are injured for Sunday.  They brought on Evans and Wan-Bissaka to replace them.  Dickhead is suspended; no idea who fills in for him.

Are we in "we need the right attitude for this, because the biggest threat is complacency" territory?

I'm not happy about everything seemingly against them for Sunday. We can't afford an ounce of complacency. We're normally a much better team when we think we've got a decent opponent in front of us. We can't give them a sniff. I'm probably more worried about Sunday after them having a shit week than I would be had they just had 2 wins.

Half of them are usually driving home by the time the match reaches the booing stage.

Complacency is always our biggest enemy under Jurgen.

See Palace, Brighton, Fulham, Sheff Utd, Luton and Toulouse for recent evidence.

Its taken us going a goal behind in most cases to jolt life into us.

The point, for the purposes of this thread, is that Man United now fit on that list, where they used to rank among the world's strongest teams.

Or its taken changes to the system after we look like losing or drawing.

Not meant as a criticism of him in other games, but Mo tends to be more 'up' for high profile fixtures. He's scored 12 goals against them already, FFS. He'll surely see Sunday as another big opportunity, and there's definitely big room for improvement from his recent performances.

I want him gone, he brings nothing to the role other than regular defeats and wasted money. All his predecessors could do that, the next guy will do it to. He brings nothing in the way of box office, that limp eixt last night was unacceptable, fuck all entertainment in the way they rolled over, where is the comedy, the dramatic finale?

We need to keep the wee man around until January at least, so slim Jim can spunk some spondulicks on Gareth Bale or some shit.

No we need him gone by Monday. Still pissed Utd didn't sack Solksjaer are the 0-5. Only reason was they didn't want us to have the satisfaction of finishing 2 managers in a row.

I withholding all comments until c.7pm on Sunday.

We need to be as up for it as we would be as if we were playing a peak-Slur Alax side.

This.

Far too much gloating from our lot on social media today.

Am I the only one who's kind of made up that Brown Jenkin will miss the game? Fucker can definitely pick a pass and even in the recent hammerings the threat of Rashford whether from the left wing or central running into those lofted passes against our high line were always evident.

I'm not that arsed about their line-up at all, though I'll still be nervous about the game and the hopefully remote prospect of them somehow turning us over.

Given the week they've had, this could not be more of a cup final for their players or Ten Hag. They'll be playing to their own gallery with an effort that we haven't seen recently.

On the complacency thing, we hopefully have enough senior players who know exactly what this game means, regardless of how easy recent victories have been.

Exactly. There is the wounded animal aspect too after their last 2 defeats. Although it has been easy for us recently, we lost against them last season and it only takes one or two lucky moments which the fuckers have in abundance. Also, thanks to fucking Hodgson and the media everyone now thinks VAR helped us last weekend.

Starting line up and form goes out of the window in this game sometimes. Plus we have not played well in the last 3 games despite getting max points out of those.

I will take a scruffy 1-0 win if offered.

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has said he is confident his players can put in a good performance against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday and only lose by a couple of goals.

United crashed out of the Champions League last night after a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich that meant the reds finished bottom of their group.

Still, Ten Hag says he believes his team can bounce back straight away.

“These are good players. They have the quality and the ability to recover from this disappointment and go to Liverpool on Sunday and only lose by 2 or 3 goals. Maybe 4 but that’s it.”

Finishing bottom of their Champions League table means United will have no European football after Christmas with Galatasaray taking the Europa League spot. However, Ten Hag said this is a good thing.

“When the other big clubs are playing in Europe, we will be at home, resting, concentrating on the Premier League. I think we are going to surprise a lot of people who are writing us off right now. Just wait until the end of the season because when you see the final table, I am telling you now. Manchester are staying up."

Yeah, same. Given how tight it is and the inevitability of City going on one of their ridiculous winning runs, anything other than a win on Sunday makes Arsenal a fixture we absolutely cannot lose if we’re to remain in title contention.

I'll be gutted if we don't surpass the 7-0 scoreline from last season.

These lads are absolute shite, and will be like rabbits in the headlights on Sunday.

If we're on it from the first minute, scoring at least 3 goals a half won't be a problem.
