My thoughts exactly . I really like the lad . Pace ,strength , stamina, attitude and a high level of skill . Easy to get carried away and no doubt he will have some off days but cracking start for the young fella.

Watching those highlights I'm not sure what's better - the fact that they had to put two men on him because he had Rose on toast, or the fact that it didn't really make much difference to him.

 

The bit at 3.15 where has three of them tracking him outside the corner of the box and he sizes up going past them three times before rolling it back instead is particularly heartening.  Hope he's going to get a run in the side, the lad is pure entertainment.

I think he would be excel as a left winger in a forward three, and told to just run at the defenders whenever he has the ball. Pretty much Ronaldo's role at Real.

It's his speed of thought which impressed me most, a player with his physique and speed usually would rely on those attributes, but his feet are exceptional, always looking for the ball and taking it in tight spaces. He's going to be a star, he's also a lot more handsome than Raheem.

Seriously impressed with young Jordon tonight.  Man of the match, continues to look a very bright talent.  Wasn't on the same page a couple of times with his teammates which led to the ball being turned over but that is easily fixed with training together and coaching.  Much more importantly when he's on the ball he's very good - the kind of player opposing teams will hate to see on the ball.

Yup, looked really good today. Him, Sterling and Sturridge and it probably is the fastest attack in the league. Hopefully they’ll make atleast a few games together before Sturridge breaks down again.
