They should stick to painting retired players/managers. I don't like the idea of having the likes of Trent up there when they still have 10 years of their career left.

Agree. I'd also say that King Kenny totally deserves one just as much for his off field stuff as  a human being as much as a footballer. It's why he is a true legend in every sense of the word.

Kenny goes to a restaurant in Birkdale where my niece used to work before going to Uni. She's not really into footy but obviously knows who Kenny is. She said he is just as much the true gent with friends and family as we see elsewhere.

Replace Henderson and Trent with Barnes,Dalglish or Rushy and Souness. Heck you could easily pick two dozen from the 70s and 80s.

My only criticism is that it would have looked better had they painted him wearing either the 1987-88, 1988-89 or 1990-91 kit.
