Doubt they'll sack him. One game in and it's not like klopp or Guardiola are lining up.

Depends on how much more the Telegraph have...

He's slagged of Woy, Neville, the FA for spending all the money on Wembley, Prince William and Prince Harry... He's not coming back from this!

The meeting with reporters also saw Allardyce appear to be filmed questioning predecessor Hodgson’s decision at Euro 2016, at times calling him “Woy” – a word used in a headline in 2012 that the FA called “unacceptable” and relating to Hodgson’s rhotacism.

On his employers, the FA, the video seems to show the England boss saying: “They’re all about making money aren’t they? You know the FA’s the richest football association in the world?”

He qualified that by saying the governing body is not the richest as “they stupidly spent £870million on Wembley, so they are still paying that debt off”.

Allardyce called Prince Harry a “very naughty boy” and complained that the Duke of Cambridge, the FA president, did not turn up to last week’s Euro 2020 launch.

The England manager was also filmed discussing the gambling habits of the country’s current or former senior internationals, the chances of players lining up for England and Hodgson’s assistant Gary Neville.

You don't go into a meeting where the FA are widely reported to be considering sacking you, and walk out the other side going "it's all a misunderstanding, I'm fine".

They're meeting to discuss terms of termination of his contract, and making it as amicable as possible. He's probably breached some aspect of his terms of contract, so likely not eligible for compensation, but the FA will no doubt 'negotiate' this as a settlement rather than give him nothing and him chasing them through the courts on grounds of his guilt has not yet been proven.

New information released by the Daily Telegraph on Tuesday claims Sam Allardyce also complained about the United Kingdom’s tax system, taking aim at HM Revenue and Customs.

The England manager was reported to have said: “The most corrupt business in our country would be what? You’ll be shocked when I tell you this - HMRC.

“They fly out tax demands without any real knowledge whether they should or shouldn’t. They just put ‘em out willy-nilly and if you pay them, people s*** themselves and pay them.

“Then they go to their accountant and say, and if you’ve got a s*** accountant, the account s**** himself and says, well you must owe them, you had better pay it

Too smart to pay any tax

Feel sorry for him in a way. He's just a player in a corrupt game, he isn't the instigator of all this, he's not clever enough, but he's going to get the book thrown at him and everyone is going to think the game is alright again.

It's not, the pursuit and retention of money has infiltrated every level of the sport.

The super-agents and the accountants are the ones that need catching and banning from involvement in football, and jailed for tax-avoidance. The managers aren't clever and cunning enough to work this shit out on their own.

I'm a bit pissed off that's it's happened so soon. I was really looking forward to him messing up over the next few years. Pity.

Nah, this is perfect, imagine waiting for a job all your life, you finally get it and then manage to fuck it up within a few months! It's fucking hilarious. Hopefully he gets another job and then have to answer questions from a Telegraph journo during his press conference!
