We've been quite average to poor collectively in the game. Henderson has been holding the midfield together on his own, really. But the individual quality of the 3 goals has been stunning. 3 top, top quality goals.

An absolutely ruthless first half. And, I don't think we've even played that well. A few really sloppy spells of play. But, we've just made the most of the chances and punished the fuck out of Palace.

That was fucking boss, three absolutely cracking goals. Loved the dummy and unerring finish, Sadio back to his best and the same for Bobby, he’s a joy to watch when he’s in this form.

Talk about a smash and grab! After the first goal we really let them back into the game losing possession far too easily. But both Sadio and Bobby really punished them on the breakaway and the valueof that 3rd goal cannot be underestimated.

 

Palace players will be wondered how they are 3 down. It's because they're playing the Champions, that's why. Would like us to tighten up and stop giving the ball away. Why are we standing under a fucking bouncing ball? The first thing you dont do is let the fucker bounce!

 

We could get a hat full today but as said, the team needs to stop giving away possession cheaply. Well in reds.

Think we had a decent start. When Bobby won it back after we lost it, after around one minute, that was a key situation. In stead if them hitting us on the break, we kept our pressure on and got the goal soon after.

 

After that the pressing and intensity was ok for another 15 minutes, but we started giving it away all the time.

 

Then the intensity dropper as well and it was proper shit for 15-20 minutes. Then of course a couple situations where our class delivered two goals and we’re suddenly three up.

Midfield seems to be where we've been weakest; giving it away cheaply and not really in control. Tighten that up 2nd half and we should be fine.
