Well, this is it, no time for any more preparation, tomorrow is our marathon walk…although not as epic as Mr C thought who was trying to work out how we’d manage the full distance of the Rob Roy Way (79 miles)!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Justgiving page, especially the many anonymous donors who I haven’t been able to thank personally.

Just the carbo loading now…

That’s the best bit!

Best of luck Cath and just remember how many backers you have on here when those blisters pop. Xx

One of my oldest friends, woman younger than me, had pains in her legs a couple of months ago. Went to the doctors and turned put she had stage 4 lung cancer, it was already in her brain. Inoperable, treatment is life extension, nothing more. No other symptoms, like a lot of people smoked when she was younger but hadn't in years. Now she can hardly talk and is knackered after walking a few steps. Just caught up with her today for the first time after her diagnosis and start of treatment. Bloody hell it has taken a toll. Will leave behind a 3 year old and a husband.

Live your life lads and ladies.

Died on Friday. Found out yesterday.  Heart broken.

It has to be the modified version? You can't just protect yourself by rattling some old slapper from Rainhill?

One of my missus best friends was part of the trial. He’s lost an eye to a rare type of eye cancer and has been riddled through his body with it. He’s a walking miracle anyway but this has got rid of the latest spread. Absolutely amazing news
