Not been following this too closely other than seeing some of the stuff posted on here and some odds and sods of random videos that people have put up of instances of people not involved getting attacked by Police.

 

But would I be right in saying that essentially what has happened is:

 

1: People have started protesting about police brutality

2: The police have responded to that with some brutality

3: As that hasn't calmed things down the response has been for Trump to demand they employ more brutality

 

Or in simple terms, the response has been we'll solve that with violence and if it doesn't work then we probably didn't use enough violence.
