Lovely fast start, 1-0, nice dribble and finish Mo.

Then Watford got on the front foot and pressed us a bit.

Henderson made a couple of mistakes as he was pressed.

A better team than Watford might have punished us.

Then we upped it again, and we looked like we could move through the gears to be fair.

We were on top the last part of the first half, culminating in Mo’s second.

Lovely cross by Mad Dog Robbo, and Mo with the finish.

 

2-0 to the red men at the half without even breaking into anything like our best. We’re managing the game well and finding a cutting edge as needed. I’d like to see us press on a bit in the second half to make this four or five, rather than stroll around.
