Someone's having a real laugh - shitcoat to Utd.

How many 34/35 year old wingers are there knocking around? Robbed and Ribery are the only 2 that spring to mind and they barely make it to 30 games a season these days and that’s even in a league where there team have walked it for years.

The game now is at a higher intensity than ever before. Years ago Rooney could have carried on into his late 30s but not any more. Even Sanchez looks done. Due to the speed of the game more and more players are looking finished once they hit 32.

He would be paying 60m for about 2 seasons as a starter at best.

Which would be perfect for Mourinho. He'll be long gone in 24 months, and it'll be someone else's problem to deal with the list of players in their early 30s, on big wages, and long contracts, that need shifting.

Pretty much the way he has worked since he went to Inter Milan.

He fucked off Lukaku to sign Eto'o.

At best, he'd be a very slight improvement on what they already have. I'm not even sure he's currently better than Rashford or Martial, let alone the fact that those two will be far better players in 2 years. Willian isn't even close to being the type of player that can make the difference in a title race.

This is the quandry, isn't it.  Mourinho gonna Mourinho, obviously.

While the condition he would leave United in financially and aging squad-wise could be helpful for a couple of years, I would sooner the currently fairly low chances of him winning a title before he flames out and fucks off not be improved by even a tiny fraction

A megalomaniacal skidmark on humanity who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and Vladimir Putin.

And also The Special Cunt.

I  made a similar crack during Morocco v Iran about how Carlos Quieroz would have no difficulty operating for a murderous tyrannical regime whose fans show inexplicable devotion to an  evil, megalomaniac leader.

Nobody laughed.

People get the world leaders they deserve.

Probably because he's the manager of Iran, not England.
