    Roberto Firmino

I think he’s found it difficult this season for whatever reason but so have the whole team. We’ve had to graft for the vast majority of results and haven’t looked as slick as in previous years. I honestly feel like they will play with less pressure next season because the first title is out of the way.
  2. He’s been fulfilling his side of the bargain since Salah arrived but Salah wasn’t doing his share. Mane had clearly started to think fuck it I’m going to shoot in the situations Salah doesn’t pass in as well and it was then harming the team two fold. Klopp had clearly sat down with both of them to sort it out. Salah then had one greedy moment and Mane flipped out which I think was a bit unfair on Mo because he hadn’t been doing it all game but it was a build up of frustration over a long period.
  3. It’s funny how this is the one time you don’t want to post any stats. Is it because Salah has far more shots at goal than Mane and plays less passes on average in a game than Sadio? This website has a detailed analysis comparing the two of them and it shows Mane plays more passes than Salah in a game, specifically into the box and has a far higher completion rate than Salah as well doing it. https://one-versus-one.com/en/compare-players/Mohamed-Salah-vs-Sadio-Mane Even if you just take this season alone where Salah has definitely stopped behaving like a complete pig, Mane’s passing stats are far better. If you go back further to last season and the season before you can see that Mane was passing the ball more and more and taking less and less shots despite being more clinical in his finishing. This completely backs up the opinion that Mane was getting sick of Salah not passing to him and started being more greedy himself. It’s led to a relatively fine balance between the two of them currently I think it would just be nice to see a few smiles when the goals go in but we can’t have everything. You tend to get tunnel vision on your opinions and you always have. You’ve nailed your colours to the mast with Salah and it’s no surprise to see you cherry picking some greedy moments from Mane in your mind to try and back your opinion up to yourself but it’s not the reality. Mane was clearly happy for Salah when he was bagging all of those goals in his debut season. You could see it from the celebrations. Those last few weeks of that season though when he was trying to break the record took its toll. The team we’re going out of their way to help Salah and he was even making some selfish bad decisions at the time which I think would have been easily forgiven. Salah continued being a greed the following season though which you can tell irked a few of the players specifically Mane. It’s clearly been ironed out now I think because you can tell by Salah’s play but pretending none of the stuff above happened is fantasy land. You tend not to like it when you get pulled on these things so I expect you to pull some meaningless stats or drop some quip about being stupid instead of addressing the points so I’m just going to leave it there.
  4. It’s nice to read that from Salah about Mane. He played an absolute worldie of a ball through to him at Palace but they still looked a bit stoney faced with each other after Mane slotted. It feels like Mane got sick of Mo’s greed a bit but Mo was completely oblivious and has been trying to make amends since his blow up. I think they will laugh their heads off at each other in a few years when they look back on it.

I was trying to make you feel bad you heartless bastard.

    Sadio Mane

It was a joke. You seem to be overly rattled by anything I post lately. He came after me so I had a pop back which you obviously have an issue with. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but Code is perfectly fine looking after himself. Sorry to break the fourth wall here but you are one of my favourite posters on the site. I know I have some opinions on things that people massively disagree with and I’ll back my own opinion all day but I honestly take it all in jest (other than the political stuff) and I assumed most did the other way.

I’m at the point now where I just post to wind you up.

The fact you got banned from the website because you chatted that much shite is amusing.

Henderson: This title is for Stevie

The lad is now a living legend. You know the stuff he’s saying here isn’t just PR nonsense. He means every word. What a journey he’s been on.

    Sadio Mane

Mane came here and basically carried us to the champions league which then brought in the better players. Without him coming here originally we may not have seen Salah or the players that followed so quickly. That equals the achievement of the 32 goal season from Salah for me and was more important for the club. Salah benefits from Mane in a way that Mane doesn’t benefit from Salah. Just use your eyes instead of a spreadsheet and you can see it every game. Salah will probably always score more goals than Mane and in part it’s because he’s more greedy. It doesn’t mean he’s a better player or is more important at all. Mane tends to score and create more important goals than Salah because he’s better at playing against deeper defences than him. They’ve also gone toe to toe in goals the past two seasons which funnily enough has coincided with Salah passing the ball more.

    Sadio Mane

Mane has been better this season. You can pull as many stats out of your arse as you want. Just watch the game. Of course we struggle when Salah is out because he’s world class but we struggle just as much if not more when Mane isn’t there. He’s more two footed and tends to be the guy to break the deadlock in tough games whether it’s him scoring or getting wide and going to the byline to create the chance. Over the course of both their careers at Liverpool I don’t think there’s anything in it between them.
  12. I sort of agree with his guard of honour comments. It’s fucking cringe and is definitely forced. It’s amusing because the way they’ve acted and they’re now forced through their own PR bullshit to do it. The De Bruyne stuff is laughable. He’s technically the best midfielder in the league but “not fit to lace his boots”, I’m not having that. On Murphy himself I thought he was crap. One half decent performance every 5 or 6 games kept him in the side when you felt he’d done enough to get dropped. Lives off a couple of not even exceptional moments, not remembered for the quality but who they were against. He’s a crap pundit who always seems to find himself in the position against Liverpool as if to convince everyone he’s impartial. Knobhead.

    Keir Starmer

Yet you’re still completely fucking clueless. Let me try and spell it out for you again. The people at the top of the Labour Party are ECONOMICALLY RIGHT WING. They don’t believe in increasing to taxes on higher earners and increasing government spending. They’re the same people that kept the same tax structure in 97 going forwards as the fucking thatcher government and told everyone that Corbyns manifesto was a disaster nobody would like. I couldn’t give a flying fuck how many meetings you’ve been to or how many arses you’ve licked to get where you are. The majority of members are left wing as are the majority of labour voters yet here we are with a vast majority of economically right wing MPs in the party. What I’m saying is not even controversial. It’s an accepted truth. Now with this new found knowledge you have go back and read my original post again.

    Keir Starmer

I just can’t believe people who are clearly intelligent hold this sort of nonsense view. It’s like they suddenly become completely braindead over and over again whenever the topic of discussion on him raises its head. You’ve got numero talking that shit about him not being a leader as if that’s an even relevant point and things like this about holding on to power. Ironic shouts about wanting the tories in perpetuity. We’ve fucking had Tory policy and behaviour in govt since forever because people like you can’t see the wood for the trees. Labour is infested with economically right wing people who don’t want to be accountable. I’m sure you know this already because I’m sure I’ve seen you post about it. They’ve spent decades filling up the party with candidates that think the same way or at least are happy to take the pay cheque and follow orders. It’s just a production line of suits out of oxbridge or any sellout they can find that grew up on a council estate who’s managed to find themselves working their way through a union which is run by the same fucking suits. There are very few economically left wing politicians left in labour and therefore parliament despite the fact the country is left leaning economically. The few left either are hanging on from before this tactic was implemented or have snuck through the door recently. They’ve filled the MPs up with this type because they know that’s where the power lies. This idea he was a shit leader is comical. These people would prefer to see a Boris Johnson or Theresa May led Tory government in power than a Corbyn led one. You can’t lead people like that. No matter how he would have approached it. The funniest ones I hear were he should have had an alistair Campbell figure controlling the media and the MPs. He had no power to do anything like that. The only reason he got to be leader was because these suits got complacent. They were that arrogant that they couldn’t be ousted and things couldn’t be changed that they allowed him on the ballot. After a couple of election defeats to a right wing party when it was right wing policy that labour had implemented that people were sick of, the Labour Party were clueless. Where do they go? You can’t go more right wing. They tried that by abstaining to hard right Tory policy and it failed. They decided to allow a lefty on the ballot because they thought it would energise the local party’s as the party was clearly dying not thinking for a second he would win. After he did win they basically then spent the next 4 years shitting themselves and trying to do anything and everything they could to oust him. Leadership challenges, keeping him off the ballot, adding rogue new positions to the NEC to get a majority, fake antismeitism claims and hysteria, “electability”, undermining party processes and telling him it was fine. Nothing else mattered. Not the tories winning and not a hard brexit. They caused it all because they wouldn’t compromise. The left wing economic manifesto was very close to winning an election and would have done had these cunts not behaved that way. He was fucked in the next election by the liberal whining over the brexit position from everyone in and out of the party. The day the party backed a second referendum was the day they lost the election and every fucking liberal cunt knew it and they also knew what that meant. They didn’t care though because all that mattered was getting the economic right back in charge of labour and Corbyn out. He never stood a chance in 2019. It will take lot of people a long time to realise but it has set the country back decades if not longer. By the time they get complacent again the likelihood that there will be an incorruptible left wing person like Corbyn in the party to actual become the leader is basically zero. Every time the Labour Party shifts right the Tory’s get further right. The idea that any labour govt is better than a Tory one is so short sighted and it’s what’s led to the country being in the position it’s in. He clung on because he knows that’s the reality and he knows lots of people in the Labour Party who support him know that. It’s completely depressing and people are living in a fantasy land if they think Starmer can win and if he by some miracle does that anything significant would change. As long as the tories are seen as the “anti-immigration party” they will take too many votes from the left. The party constantly talk about engaging with its heartlands and winning back the working class etc. It’s not happening because largely those voters want tighter immigration controls and left wing economic policy and these cunts are built on the opposite. TL;DR Wake up it’s the right wing cunts in labour that are the problem not the people trying to turn this country into an actual democracy.

If Roy Keane played for us

I’ve played men’s amateur football in Liverpool and Warrington of a Saturday for the last 10 years.

If Roy Keane played for us

There’s a short video of his greatest game ever against Juve in that semi final in 99. It’s got some special effects on it which aren’t even the funniest thing. It’s that they are meant to be the highlights of the performance. Go and watch it, it’s fucking gold. Honestly if somebody turned up at my Saturday side and kicked the ball with the technique he uses they would get laughed off the pitch it’s that bad. He was literally a tackle and pass it 5 yard merchant.

    Naby Keita

She’s said she meant to say man which is hilarious because then it would read me and man left. At a guess I reckon she thought Keita was Mane.

    Naby Keita

People do all sorts of mad shit for attention and money. It’s a bit cringe watching a pile on and she might genuinely have felt intimidated or whatever in the position she was in but even in what she has written it’s not sexual assault. It feels like she’s being deliberately vague but from what’s she put he’s propositioned her and then offered her money. She’s said no, went to the toilet text her ma and then he’s booted her out. It’s never pretty to see someone try it on with someone who isn’t interested but it’s a reality of life. It doesn’t make it sexual assault. There’s never an answer to this because if she was genuinely assaulted then I don’t blame her for going public but if she wasn’t and is doing it for attention then it’s out of order on Keita as it might ruin his career. It’s innocent until proven guilty obviously but with the amount of predators who get away with it there’s a certain amount of mud sticks. It’s wrong but it’s another reality of life. If he’s innocent hopefully he learns his lesson to not invite random birds around to his house and try to goose them when nobody else is around as it leaves it open for this sort of accusation.

If Roy Keane played for us

Keane couldn’t shoot with any consistency, wasn’t particularly good in the air, he had no pace, he didn’t have a long pass in the locker and couldn’t use his weak foot. He literally had an engine, a tackle and a mouth. Circumstance and attitude got him in the United team and kept him there. He looked like a promising midfielder when he was young but he went backwards when they realised he wasn’t good enough. Noble is a perfect example of someone with very similar technical ability.

    Andy Robertson vs Trent Alexander-Arnold

Clyne is training with the kids he’s that exiled. He’s clearly done something to the point Klopp doesn’t even want him near the team. I loved Clyne and couldn’t understand the issue and even thought he should have been starting games while Trent improved the defensive side of his game but fuck me his ship has sailed a long time ago. Now I actually believe the drug rumours because nothing short of that would have created the situation with him now. Either way him staying clearly isn’t an option. Cresswell is a Konchesky waiting to happen. He peaked a long time ago and has been poor for a while. Our full backs need to be marathon runner level athleticism.

Technically he was bang average. It’s comical seeing you all fawning over him. There was nothing exceptional about him.

    Andy Robertson vs Trent Alexander-Arnold

It’s difficult because who is going to come here and sit on the bench. Even if Trent has a bad run of form you wouldn’t drop him, the same for Robertson. If he was older you could sign a young right back who would be happy to learn from him and fill in here and there but it’s a graveyard for anyone because he’s so young himself. It’s going to have to be Neco Williams but he will stagnate himself if he stays here.

    Andy Robertson vs Trent Alexander-Arnold

I think it was just compounded by Trent having his worst game in years. There’s nothing to say Robbo wouldn’t have been rusty himself had he started.
