They've got so much in common. Lallana upsets his neighbours with unsightly all weather pitches and loud Mumford and Sons albums whilst Mario sets off fireworks in his house and rides quads around his street throwing darts at tramps.

 

He's living in the wrong neighbourhood.

Of course there matching boots he's got an identical pair in the boot room.

One of my neighbours was doing this the other day....he is a bit of an alco and instead of a  pink and blue mix it was a shoe on the right and a wrecked adidas trainee on the other,

Had this exact conversation with her mates husband yesterday, who the second we met up was full of "What will Sturridge think not being first-choice for every game? Why buy Lallana then? What about Markovic? How will Lambert take just playing Carling Cup?"

 

I just asked him how many tidy little ballplaying midfielders he thinks Wenger needs to buy before he has enough and buys a decent defensive one, who backs Giroud up if Arsenal want their league season to finish 3 months later than is their tradition, and why the team who won the title need Aguero, Dzeko, Negredo and Jovetic if its such a poor policy.

 

His reply was, genuinely, I wish we were buying Balotelli, Giroud isn't as good as Sturridge.

 

Needless to say, I had the last laugh.

This was a factually inaccurate post.

 

Now I've had the last laugh.
