Hmm is it too obvious to say "With a Little Help From My Friends" by Joe Cocker? Totally changed it and made it sound so very good.   Plus it was theme to the Wonder Years, which helps.

This has George Harrison also his son and tom petty amongst others.There playing while my guitar gently weeps.

 

The thing about this version is the fact its a superb version of it and rolling along nicely and then its princes turn to play his guitar.The guy just totally steels the track,with some amazing guitar work.

I know its directly the beatles but I always thought Bryan Ferrys version of Jealous Guy was better than Lennons.

 

Yossou N Dour does a tremendous version of Jealous guy on that Save Dafur record, where loads of artist covered Lennon. Could`nt find it on You Tube, but it`s worth looking up.

 

This one is also pretty decent!

I've heard him do this better (i.e. in a studio and on a stage - not just dicking around) but this was the only clip I could find on YouTube.
