Fabianski had hold of it for a good 4 seconds, then gave it to the ref and turned his back. Ref gives it to the Porto player, who drops it and passes it, goal scored. A good 9/10 seconds overall. While all that was going on, Cambell was still rooted to the spot and there wasn't another Arsenal player close.

To be fair the goalkeeper had it for a few seconds before it was clear whether the ref had given a freekick.

The ball was in the back of the net within, literally, 1 second of the referee indicating the indirect freekick.

Arsenal weren't given a chance to defend it.

The ref even had his back to the ball as the kick was taken, he himself wasn't ready for it.

Xabi got sent off. But, he will miss a pointless game and then he'll start the knockout rounds with a clean slate, you get it?

Ramos just did it too. I found it pretty funny to be honest, especially the way the commentator was crying about it. Bet he wasn't weeping when Beckham did it.

Don't the authorities have some sort of rule about sportsmanship, bringing the game into disrepute, that sort of thing... ? The bunch of prats should have the book thrown at them for such a blatant act of gamesmanship. Football hardly has any dignity left, and with cynical prats like Mourinho around it won't last long.
