Logan - 8/10. Really good way for Hugh Jackman to leave the character of Wolverine behind (assuming he doesn’t do a cameo in the MCU). It delivers what Marvel is currently starting to flounder with right now which is genuine peril for the characters. The dark tone is superb too.

Underwater - 7/10. Like a cross between The Abyss and Alien but on a much lower budget. Really effective little B movie with some good tension and jump scares, delivered by a credible cast.

Moonfall (Amazon)

 

Halle Berry (Looking like she's done some stuff with her face, she looks about 30 and still very hot), Patrick Wilson and the fat lad from game of Thrones. The moon goes out of orbit and starts fucking shit up on Earth? Whats behind it? You really don't want to know. 3/10.

Just rewatched Top Gun: Maverick and it’s still fucking great. Looks boss on the telly too. Way better than lots of other stuff does.

Wasn't too hopefuls but really enjoyed it. Strong enough to stand on its own merit without relying on Toy Story references. Few nods to star wars and even Aliens which I enjoyed.

It’s dated but when I first watched it I considered it one of the greatest films I’d ever seen. 
 

Watching it again, many years later, changed that view (I wish I’d left it alone) but it’s still worth seeing if you haven’t had the pleasure. 
 

A great piece of film making, great performances, a good film, is probably how Is sum it up.

It's good but same as Mean Streets, it hasn't aged brilliantly. My opinion of course. But if you haven't seen it then get it watched.

Fisherman's Friends 2 - 4/10

 

First one was good but this was forced and fell flat. James Purefoy is a terrible lead, he's just very unlikable and the best character from the first movie (Danny Mays) was missing.
