I know you’re all going to neg the shit out of me, but blame it on Elite. It’s his fault. He baited me on p216 of The 2019 Summer Transfer Thread. I mean, how could I ignore this? He was basically putting a gun to my head and making me do it. Elite 5,174 Posted today, 18:51:28 We aren't signing anyone and this thread has turned into a bickering mess. See ya'll in the January 2020 thread.

Before we can expect anything else than the usual nothing peformances from him? He needs to go on loan to a club who fits his level, he is not good enough if we wants to achieve something at the moment.

I am a long way from wanting it to happen but I know a few on here are getting restless and there is a story on the bbc gossip pages (probably bullshit) about the owners getting twitchy with our form. If they did jump the gun and sack him who realistically would you want in? Hiddink is having a mare with the dutch team but I've always rated him especially at club level and he would probably be my first realistic choice Simeone second. I think he is a right cunt but he is a great manager. Likely he wont fancy the challenge of us when the City job will probably be avaialable. Klopp - shit season in the Bundesliga with Dortmund. Still a class act. In-f…

I know everyone's panicking/ not panicking/ about that big lump Andy Carroll, and it is an interesting and valid debate. But have we chatted much about Jordan Henderson? I think out of all our big recruits he was the one I simply couldn't work out; how good he is, where he should play, what his strengths are, was he worth the money. Did we need him? Of all of them, I had a feeling his start this season would be one that had more than a few people scratching their heads. Now obviously it's very early days, but I think I was bemused with good reason. It's obvious that Adam, Enrique and Downing are what they are: decent footballers who know how to play CM, LW and…

I've always wondered why pundits are given the time of day they are. It really is quite odd. They are, by and large, examples of failure for the most part, or at least rarely are they examples of overwhelming success. For instance. The other day I was listening to Souness talk about "what it takes to be a great manager". Now, his qualities as a player are undoubted, but how the fuck can he sit there with a straight face and talk about what it takes to be a great manager, when he was an absolute failure of one? And why do people listen to it? Similarly, I watch players like Danny Mills and Robbie Savage give their tupence on the ability of players who they could on…

Last reply by scudger99, -
apparently he is defo leaving Atletico and bidding will start at £15m. His stats aren't great imo:"The 23-year-old has scored 82 goals in 212 league appearance for Atletico, while his record for Spain is 14 in 42 games".

I think this forum needs a GF style amnesty thread. This is a safe haven for those who have "unsavoury" opinions, where they can admit to an opinion and not face criticism or negging (any reported negging on this thread will be dealt with swiftly and harshly by the forum powerneggers). Mild alarm and surprise is accepted. So come on, who secretly thinks Ferguson is actually a decent bloke, that Torres is overrated or that our owners are actually quite good. Let's have it. I can start with the fact that I think the new Everton home shirt is pretty nice.

Just thought I'd say he is the biggest most overatted referee ever. He was a disgrace last night gave everything to Arsenal. But not only last night was he bad but everytime He has done us this season he has been shite. Like Arsenal away he sent adebayor off for fuck all, The Derby at home he allowed numerous fouls on Torres. He's shite like the rest of them.

Yep, I started a thread on him. And I didnt even need to check when I spelt his name, I've kind of got a system, it's Mk-hit-aryan. I think if people need to say his name, it's better to drop the M and just go with Kitarian (Khitaryan).

It'd be ridiculously premature to start celebrating the ousting of The Twats just yet, but it's not too early to give some massive respect to Chris B. I was just thinking this afternoon that his story started all of this. He has taken some major shit over the last six months or so, but without him - and crucially, without him having left The Echo where he'd never have been allowed to run his story - we'd be none the wiser to their scheming ways and they might not have been manoeuvred into the position they appear to be in right now where a sale seems like their best and only option. Regardless of what happens in the next week or so, well in Chris; you're a true Re…
