Your normal Breakfast

Recommended Posts

What do you have on a day to day basis?

I used to be firmly in the "Tea and Toast/Coffee" camp for years but recently just discovered I just don't want it anymore. Maybe it's overkill? Maybe I had a bad toast experience? I don't know but what I do know is that a new dawn has risen over the Dangerously breakfast..

Step forward Fruit and Greek Yogurt.

A whole new world of breakfast loveliness has enveloped me. I bought blueberries and nectarines on a whim from Aldi (part of their super 6 offer) and a tub of greek yogurt and it's changed my life. Chop that nectarine up, handfull of blueberries, few big dollups of the yogurt (low fat one as I'm a chubster) and a squeeze of honey and it sets me up for the day.

What does the GF have regularly? Are you a bacon buttie man? Are you a cereal bar woman? Do you wait til 11 and get something in work/school? Do you eat half a tin of cold beans like Chicken Licken?

PS anyone bringing the beans/no beans on a fry-up debate up in this thread is getting a negging

I mix things up a fair bit so I don't have a "normal" breakfast. I must, however, have at least 1 bacon sandwich in the week.

I did try that Activia pouring yoghurt a few weeks back with Bran Flakes, and it's not a bad combination at all. I'm not much of a cereal person because I don't drink milk and am not fond of any of the alternatives, so this yoghurt thing might catch on.

Compare the packaging on these alleged low fat foods because a lot if the time they reduce the unsaturated healthy fats and the saturates stay a similar level in which case you may as well buy the nicer version Edited by Remmie

Compare the packaging on these alleged low fat foods because a lot if the time they reduce the unsaturated healthy fats and the saturates stay a similar level in which case you may as well but the master version

Remmie knows. I did this last week at the supermarket, comparing the content of their "Healthy choice" hummous with the usual one. Almost sod all difference when you read the small print. Difference in price, for sure, but not in healthyosity.

I honestly don't get how people can not eat in the morning. It'd be the death of me.

I only started doing it recently as I'm trying to be healthier, but I never used to feel hungry in the morning until I got into the routine of eating in the morning.

It was difficult at first to force myself to do it. Now I couldn't survive without it though.
