  1. so 12 out of his 15 years as a manager are under investigation now? Along with his steriod use as a player. A real inspriation, I dont know how Pep does it!
  2. Its certainly amused me for most the afternoon, i don't think we've ever had a troll be so successful on here before. You are aware this video is nearly five years old? Doesn't really seemed to have happened yet.
  3. But the energy companies/suppliers aren't doing anything different to inflate prices, so some say... https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/bills/article-12465119/Ofgem-cracks-rip-tactics-added-109-energy-bill-year.html
  4. There's certainly a strange type of virtue signalling going on with the posters on that site, too many top reds who smell themselves for me. Absolutely, too many fans are getting fixated on individual issues within the club. The fact of the matter if it isn't as well run as it was even three years ago. Why is that? But it isn't being looked after is it? Can you honestly admit the club is as well ran as it was three years ago? You sound like a bird here mate, you are twisting words and know it.
  5. I find it amazing some supporters can't see it, even the most laid back reds I know have had enough of FSG this closed season. You can argue about the maths all you like but those of you still in FSG's corner need to look at how poorly they've done even just approaching players for this season.
  6. Lad i know went on the tour last weekend, they've had to put aload of plasterboards up where the boxes are going and theres still alot of work to be done on the interior of the stand. The tour guides were trying to play it down but one of them admitted it's a right mess and well behind schedule, October is looking doubtful.
  7. I'd be very interested to hear how such massive profits can be explained, from what I've read alot of it is from the commerical arm of British Gas as they had their energy cap lifted. The problem with that is those costs are just passed on to the consumer, I'm trying to withhold judgement here but thats an insane jump. Especially with the cost of living, British Gas just seem to be compounding the problem? The smaller businesses then go pop, multi-nationals then open up. Provide the same services locals used to provide and enact the same practices we have been watching unfold. It's nefarious.
  8. I'd go along with this, they want to take our position at the top table not strengthen it.
  9. My missus bought a kitten for me last year after i was threanening to do it for years, I was devastated when my last cat died. She's as mad as a box of frogs but I wouldn't be without her now.
  10. Came in to post that, he doesnt understand how people work.
  11. Flew back from China back into Manchester, not knowing anything that had gone on as all the western news sites were blocked out there at the time. Police on high alert all armed with serious hardware, thought better of asking one of them what had happened.
  12. Thank you for the breakdown and explanation, I usually give most people or organisations the benefit of the doubt but after the last couple of years my opinion is slowly changing as regards to FSG. A few years ago, I'd have looked at that article and pay no heed to it. Not so much anymore and I'd imagine there’s plenty of other reds paying a lot more attention as to what FSG might be doing or not doing in many cases.
  13. Ah, fair enough. Yeah, nowhere near enough fact checking is going on anymore. Someone makes an article up with numbers that doesn't make sense and instead of ridiculing the author. The consensus is just to argue with each other instead of going after the source.
  14. Im not quite at FSG out levels but I've thought for a long time now they just have a better PR operation than most owners. I'd imagine theres all sorts of these "inconsistancies" within our accounts
  15. "During the court case it emerged that the New Balance deal was generating for the club far more money than it claimed publicly- in 18/19, it emerged that the deal generated £64m (off of 1.8m in kit sales). That was well in excess of the £45m that the deal was widely reported to be generating for the club (though that figure was likely fairly accurate in the 17/18 season):" Am I reading this wrong as this just seems shady and inline with FSG's MO.
  16. Found this graph intresting from the Everton thread, I thought one of the reasons we didnt have the cash flow was because of wages. I'd imagine the bonuses arent included in that breakdown?
  17. We didn’t buy Bellingham as he was too expensive, we needed numbers. Now we have, I’d imagine the same people who were chill about not signing Bellingham. Trying to rationalise not needing numbers in the midfield, it doesn’t make sense. We either need a couple of top-class signings which could have been Bellingham and Mac-Allister, or we need numbers. It can’t be one then the other and finally neither. I’m not saying going after Bellingham was or wasn’t the correct thing to do but to argue that LFC don’t have the resources to buy three midfielders that Klopp is happy with after years of neglect in that area. I’m genuinely at a loss for words, hopefully Klopp gets backed and is happy with his lot. The rumblings that are coming out from the journos and now the players! Don’t paint a pretty picture. But everyone is free to believe what they want I suppose, I just find it very difficult giving FSG any leeway after the amount of times they’ve either gotten things wrong or just plain let us, the club and Klopp down.
  18. Something about all this is off; like many have mentioned. The same year the Saudi's are throwing out massive contracts is the same year the Prem are looking into bringing in a wage cap?
  19. They can try and rationalize it as much as they want, but they know in the pit of their stomach what they are doing is wrong. They will not be able to look at themselves in a mirror and like what is looking back. The wages provided to them are a product of an appalling regime, there is no freedom of expression, there human rights record speaks for itself, unfair trials, the death penalty, that is before the weaponization of oil money to exert undue influence on the freedoms enjoyed by the west. I cannot circle the square of a Liverpool legend and captain coming from a socialist city, along with lots of fans in particular from the Liverpool area not wanting LFC to become part of a sport washing organisation. They can make any number excuses buts it is poor form and money cannot buy your virtue back.
  20. Already a done deal according to Twitter, mad the fights that have been going on in here and then that report...
  21. Saw a video explaining the below article and the fella was terrified, appartenly the spokesperson comments were taken out of "context." I'd imagine the military are finding it difficult to tame AI' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12151635/AI-controlled-military-drone-KILLS-human-operator-simulated-test.html Edit: Found the video:
