Their fans are the football equivalent of that person who says ' what if all this money was real '

When playing Monopoly

I compare them to the people who list all the things they're going to buy when they win the lottery, as if its guaranteed to happen at some point.

That is the single most predictable and boring thing that anyone can say playing Monopoly.

Reach for the straws here... re: Usamov and why he'd abandon Arsenal for Everton

I think at this stage of his life the profit motive is secondary to Usmanov
He has more than enough money
As someone else posted now he wants the ego trip , the power , the kudos and acknowledgement that he owns and controls a top PL side
He wants his legacy to be seen by all not just a name on Forbes rich list.
If someone says Jack Walker to you do think steel tycoon or do you say that’s the chap that made Blackburn rovers league champions
That what Usmanov wants

In the Everton version of Monopoly, if you land on someone else's property you don't pay any rent.

In the Everton version of Monopoly, you need IOUs just to purchase Old Kent Road or Whitechapel Road. You'll never put houses or hotels on them.
