Things like the Man Utd, Dortmund & Villarreal wins and Sturridge’s quality goal in the final are all somewhat forgotten about or don’t get the recognition they deserve, because we didn’t win the trophy.

I've not followed how traore has been doing in Barcelona but judging by tonight nothing has changed.  He's so bad they seem to avoid passing to him.

Exactly. The loss is compounded by the effective loss of one of the greatest European Final goals of all time by Sturridge, which deserves to be remembered for the stunning finish that it was.
