January 2018 Transfer Thread

I saw a table that showed Coutinho and Sturridge as two of this seasons top players for us in goals per minute, either by scoring or assisting.

We really need to be coming up with some good transfer news at the end of this window or one more bad result could send us into a spin.

we’re done in this transfer window. Klopp has pretty much said it in every press conference he’s done for the last few weeks.

There’s no credible links to us signing anyone else.

Sturridge with goals and assist ? did i just wake up in 2013/14 again ? him leaving has no impact what so ever on our season, the man is more broken then a 50 year old porn star.

He is next to useless but marginally better than nobody - and i see no sense in a loan deal unless we bring someone else in...we can't seriously think a kid with zero goals and a lad who has barely kicked a ball for two years is suitable forward cover even allowing for formation changes in the event of injury.

Sturridge at least has scored this season.

Philippe Coutinho has returned to Liverpool to say goodbye to his former Anfield colleagues.

Coutinho is said to have wanted to leave “good feelings” with the Reds despite forcing through his dream move to the Camp Nou.

“This Tuesday a farewell party is scheduled to be attended by the entire staff and technical staff of Liverpool, as well as the most intimate friends of the Coutinho family. It will be a nice act to say goodbye to all those who were part of their environment.”

That is hilarious. Just when you think the club can sink no lower. Though thanks to Coutinho, Henry and his cronies can sleep on a bed of money tonight. A year worth of parties is in order.

Anyone who seriously thinks Coutinho was going to sit out the rest of the season during a Champions League campaign and in a World Cup year needs their head testing. FSG were petrified Barca would turn their attentions and send the money elsewhere, or that the cash cow could get crocked.

Those words from klopp today are just fucking weird. It has a ring of "I'm focused on training and coaching my team". And this stuff from Joyce that klopp is happy with ings and solanke as cover, I just can't believe it. Klopp is very fucking far from stupid, why would he pin our season on 2 players who've never scored a goal for him? Did he watch ings on Saturday? He looked like a lad who got to take some sponsors half time pens and then sneaked on the pitch when nobody was looking. It's fucking nonsense.

And what is the motivation for letting Sturridge go? Who cares about a 1.5m loan fee and 4 months wages? While the cunt is barely fit, he offers as much injured as ings and solanke do when they play.

Is the bayern Munich job available in the summer?

I'm sure we'll be reinvesting the Sturridge money.

Went on hols to Malaga in Autumn and there was a massive yacht in the harbour & it had a helicopter with a made-to-measure padded cover on the deck , like a helicopter-shaped marshmallow. I am sure JWH will be in the market for one.

This feels a bit like when I start a United file on FM. Sell the entire first team squad, sign Rory Delap for £100m, fire every single member of staff, play 0-5-5 in every game, with a team comprised exclusively of the very worst players in the youth team, with everyone playing out of position, and speak to the media as if I'm Roy Hodgson.

It's sabotage is what it is.
