Awful performance & awful result.

Two defeats in the first 4 games is simply not good enough. Rodgers is under pressure for the first time, lets see how he copes with it in the next couple of huge months. It will be a good indication as to whether he was a one season wonder (thanks to Suarez) or is actually really building something great here

Under pressure? It's not the first time he's had to deal with people going hysterical about a result but he's not under pressure.

Edit. Also accidentally repped that post. I strongly disagree with it.

my concern is that his signings has generally been shite so far...the front 4 today were poor, with Balotelli looking the opposite of poetry in motion - a weird signing and again, a sign of Brendan's ego getting the better of him.

He's won fuck all yet in his managerial career and his inability to affect the game today was in stark comparison to Mourinho at Chelsea today.

Still think he's the best thing to happen to us in years, but tonight is a serious wake up call.

He's manager of Liverpool Football Club he should be under pressure every game

Last season we were the total surprise package and it was well above everyones expectations.  Those expectations have now changed.  He & the team have to deal with them,

Well it's not the first time he's been under pressure then, is it? He has to deal with higher expectations. Today he also had to deal with 2 debutants in attack and our two best players missing along with one of our most important midfielders in Allen. We're still in September, everybody needs to chill the fuck out.

Fucking hell. Is it now standard to judge new signings after not even four games into season?

You deserve mighty red, you fucking biff.

while their only contribution is slagging the manager or the team off on the internet, it's probably not accurate to describe them as fans.  They're not supporters, because they don't support.  Can we start calling them 'followers'?

Just for people who are lining up with excuses. Villa had arguably their two best players out in Benteke and Vlaar. A cb pairing playing their first game, a new fb who got destroyed by our fans. Not forgetting Cleverly making his debut for them and a bunch of other shite.

Some serious Hodgson shite being spouted in here.

They also got an early goal and were then able to defend for 80 minutes without any impetus to attack

Fuck's sake. Lallana, 60 minutes playing time this season. Balotelli, 120 minutes, playing time this season. Markovic 70(?0 minutes playing time this season. Lambert, fuck knows how many miutes, 30?

Have a fucking word with yourselves some of the twats here. Give rodgers 10 games? The same rodgers who had us within 2 points of the title last fucking season?

Yeah, let's get pardew in, no wait, let's get pulis in or some other non entity who make us even shittier.
