The economics of football is bad business unless youre Milan Mandaric, who used to snap up clubs on the cheap, take on their debt and turn them around using a half decent manager and having a decent go at promotion in the championship. Liverpool isnt a club that can be bought for cheap because there is an embedded brand value that other clubs like city dont have so that will be a barrier. Other than that, you couldnt imagine the arabs coming in and renaming Anfield to something like the Saudi Royal Stadium and rebranding the business. Too much history to be toyed with FSG have done a solid job by reducing the debt by 200m.

One of the my housemates showed me a picture of him 3 years ago. Guy was standing at 120kg and is now your average lad.....you couldnt tell he was a big guy. Told me he got fed up of being fat before his college started and would wake up every morning and go on 1.5 hr walk without any breakfast. He'd listen to revision notes but you can swap for music or books. The biggest challenge was diet but when youre up at 8 to walk a mile or two, you learn to get your shit together. Helped his metabolism massively

Hello all Longtime lurker but first time poster. So im heading off to uni in just under 3 weeks time and want to find a good pub or bar where I can watch games. This probably sounds weird but if I dont come across many liverpool supporters at uni, i'd like to go somewhere with some solid supporters. Any ideas?
