On the subject of whether it is better to be the more attractive one, to paraphrase Karl Pilkington: It's better to live in the hole looking at the palace than live in the palace looking at the hole. Suffice to say I am another batting considerably above my average.

Chris Martin can be found in a skip wearing only piss and semen stained underpants binge eating kebabs and rolling his own winnits. His next album will include covers of Megadeth and Crass favourites.

Am I the only one who thinks this sounds like an excellent night out?

Yep, awful. Stopped taking any notice of them after hearing the a couple of tracks off X&Y, mainly the dreadful dirge "Fix You". Peaked too early, its all been downhill since 02. If any artist should have put a shotgun in their mouth after a couple of albums, it was Chris Martin.

Yeah, Rush of Blood to the Head was a decent record "god put a smile upon your face" with Paddy Considine in the video, it was actually a class video looking back. They're a bit like Kings of Leon in that respect, not the same as they used to be.

Yeah, they were ok on the first album, when they looked like they'd just crawled from the deep south. Big tashes and crap clothes. Ace.

Then the image consultants clearly got a hold of them, and when their image went bland so did their music.

No. It isn't.

Take a load of drugs and bang a load of teenagers - Boss.

Decide you're going to keep banging on about something worthy - Shut the fuck up will you.

It's really quite a common reaction.

Problem with that is it just comes across as preachy self righteousness. I actually reckon Bono and Martin would both be ok fellas if you were just sitting down having a brew and a chat, but sometimes you just don't want politics mixed with the music you're listening to.

That isn't a view shared by everyone that thinks Martin is a boring cunt though.
