Playing this 3223 system the advanced midfielders can be very offensive minded players so maybe that is why Gakpo is slotting in there ahead of Jones.

 

We can carry extra threat and support attack more and we know we have TAA and Mac Allister behind them and 3 defenders....But as @niallers says Robbo has to be more conservative.

Other teams don't push their defenders really really high up the pitch like we push our defenders really really high up the pitch. 

 

If other teams did push their defenders really really high up the pitch then we could just lump it to Salah because they would have pushed their defenders really really high up the pitch.
