Does Rodgers deserve another season.

PS - I haven't seen the post match interview. Maybe Brendan is trying to fight back a bit as he knows he is under a lot of pressure?

It's hard to sack a manager after his team have just won a game, so if he can keep that going that will be the best riposte to any critics.

I don't have a lot of hope that he can keep it going, mind!

He has every right to stand up for himself.

The hysteria as he calls it is at boiling point on here so what must it actually be like for him.

Glad to see him come out fighting and if it transmits positivity to the players and we get results then thats all that matters.

I'd agree with that. A bit of a siege mentality could be useful ahead of the Everton game, assuming the players have any loyalty left to him at all.

He's a lucky man that Sturridge is coming back to full fitness. Must be his first time getting two in a game since the season before last?

Teams do tend to struggle without their best player no matter how many millions they ve spent on the rest of the squad.

look at city without silva.

after 3+ trophyless seasons, £200m+ spent on transfers on some historical transfer crimes, he comes out, after an uncomfortable victory at home were we concede -yet again- 2 goals against 16th Villa and he blames certain "hysteria".

You are hysterical Bredgie like all your fapologists who crawled out of their caves tonight to hail this brilliant, monumental victory. Certainly not appropriate to be a Liverpool manager.
