I will dread the day that corrupt ginsoaked bastard dies; TV and SKY will be a complete saturation of that cunt for weeks. It'll be time to leave the country.

However, when he does pop his clogs and his power in the FA is lost it'll be great watching them drop in mediocrity.

There's no argument about the trophy count he's won.

There could be some validity about the level of assistance they've been afforded over the years when it's come to big decisions going in their favour, there's not enough space on this page to list all the iffy pens, opposition sending offs, unpunished criticism of referees, unpunished defamation of other club managers and players etc etc. but that would be calling the whole game in this country into question, which would never be done by those who control the game (who arguably buy into the whole united favouritism thing anyway?) but when you see the lack of success they've had over the years in Europe, the fact that referees don't get influenced as much, the apparent lack of fear from teams playing them, then the difference is so marked perhaps it does need to be looked at?

Benitez took us as close as anyonehas at LFC to overhauling them, I remember Allardyce and that cringeworthy criticism of Benitez apparently showing the fat bastard no respect and how ferguson and Allardyce were able to get that into the papers at the time, even though it was amateurishly cobbled together and would have been laughed at by anyone else, Dave Whelan and his toadying, don't even start on Gordon fucking Taylor the spineless monotonic prick, who defends anything but Liverpool and our players, the press who's sycophantic drivel towards anything united gets them favourable headlines.

And you know what?

When he goes, all the spineless bastards who secretly believed Benitez was right will come out from under their stones and begin dissing ferguson because he won't be able to bully them then.

The same spineless bastards who bow and scrape now when ferguson commands them to.

After Rafa's summary of the FA's obsequiousness to Ferguson, a reporter asked the Govan coward for a response. JP's unstable boy said that he would have had to have "studied Freud" to understand Benitez. On hearing this Rafa said "Freud? Yes. I studied him at university".

Now this may sound like a class put down by Benitez, as Ferguson was a piece of unsophisticated shit who was too thick to complete an apprenticeship at a Clyde shipyard......as a plater......., while Rafa was the academic son of a comfortably off Spanish family. But it wasn't. Truth was the issue.

What Rafa had said was the truth: about the favouritism United had enjoyed from the FA. The media, dazzled by the 'Sir' appendage to Ferguson's (the Socialist's) name, supported the Manc moron's half-witted response and launched the 'rant' offensive against Benitez. Yet there was no direct response to Rafa's assertions. To this day the obnoxious 'guest speaker' at stockbroker's dinners has never addressed Benitez's accusations,. and, most tellingly, no member of our media has invited him to do so.

Rafa's facts were (are) uncontested. The 'clown' in this scenario is not the man who accused but the gobshite who could not refute those accusations. The cunt who, to this day, cannot offer anything other than cowardly, snide and uncontrollably angry insults to the accusation that he and his club benefit from a corrupt relationship with our sport's governing body.

Be it being allowed to opt out of the FA cup for a disastrous tour of South America, a favourable fixture list or lack of investigation into molestation complaints by South African hotel staff. 'Sir' fucking, money-grubbing, rich guy's arse licking, father of cunt kicking Darren, shithouse Ferguson's Crusty-esque cynicism, aided and abetted by the FA, would suggest that that the real circus act resides at Old Trafford.

That's a class post that.

Why is Ferguson still discussing Rafa? The thick cunt, it's the biggest backhanded compliment he could have possibly given to someone.

The media are just as thick in all this, at no point have they ever stopped to think about the nationalistic views of Ferguson and how this makes them look. All the media outlets are supposed to be 100% English, fully behind the nation, championing the national team and the country. Ferguson is Scottish to the point of deformity, to the point he laughs at the English and rolls around like a pig in shit when you bring up the history of England and how the Scottish have always been the superior this that and the other.

But he takes the Knighthood.

The thick twat.

The short-termism by the media in this case is staggering. Where are they going to position themselves when he 'goes'?

Another season of CL mediocrity from them and you can make a case for saying that they offer very little in terms of popularising the PL abroad. Teams like Man City and Arsenal already do that very well, and WE dwarf both of them but don't get CL, and then you've got Chelsea, you know, there's no real argument for protecting United. These flimsy 'fans' would just pick another club and buy THEIR merchandise, it's not like they'd give up football altogether and pick a rugby club.

I find the whole United and media circus fascinating, mostly because it's so stupid that it's almost like reality TV, you just find it compulsive watching because you hate the two protagonists so much. Based on a bad/good result, you can pretty much write down a flow chart of the news reports that will come out that week, that's how staged and low-brow this is.

I wonder, just wonder, what the media reaction will be when Ferguson dies and PL clubs are asked to take part in the month-long mourning process for him.

When the cameras come to Anfield, of course there will be some respect shown, but it won't last for more than a game, and I wonder how the media would treat us to see a few fans shrug their shoulders when asked about how Ferguson's death has affected them.

Hmmm. For all this pointless chat about "backhanded compliments" and how Benitez "really got under his skin", let's not forget that while Benitez was manager of Liverpool, he got under Ferguson's skin so much that United won the title three times, the European Cup, the FA cup and the League Cup three times.

To really get under his skin and worry the horrible old cunt, you have to win the title.

He was never so worried about Benitez as he was about Mourinho and Wenger, and his major worry these days is Man Shitty.

Essentially, whoever he considers the greatest threat to him winning trophies "gets under his skin".

He certainly disliked Benitez, but I'm not sure we were ever consistently a major threat to worry him unduly. Which is a real shame.

"I remember a few years ago when Liverpool beat us 4-1 at Old Trafford. That genius [Rafael] Benítez said they had planned to beat us by playing long balls behind us. Remember that? Clown."

Sir Alex Ferguson expecting more twists and turns in title race | Football | The Observer

he's lost his marbles. I suspect this was after a few drinks. I've seen him in action after a few drinks, and he talks even more shite than usual. It doesn't make any sense in any context.

I think Rafa got under his skin because we beat them 1-4 at theirs, because we beat Real Madrid 4-0, because we beat Barcelona in the CL, because we beat Mourinho across two CL encounters, because we got to two CL finals within 3 years of him being here, because we had the best midfield in the world, among other things.

Ferguson loves giving out praise to bright managers who lead their team valiantly to victory, like Roberto Martinez the other day, he couldn't have spoken more highly of him because it was a one-off loss and one that is still very, very unlikely to affect the title race, so it gives him a chance to look magnanimous in defeat, despite the loss meaning nothing to United.

Ferguson hated Rafa, and so did the United fans, and that's what I love about Rafa. A clever, well educated man, he could see right through it and called him on it with 'the rant'.

If Kenny had done the same press conference people would be shuddering with pre-cum about it.

Rafa definitely wound him up a fair bit.

Mainly because he challenged the manc bias in English football.

But also...

I reckon the whole club from top to bottom knows full well they've had leagues handed to them on a platter years gone by. They've always been a good team no doubt, but the season they beat us. They got easily 6-9 points they didn't deserve and its well documented where and when.

In the end, that plus our own inability to finish off some seriously shit opposition won them the league. But I reckon the cunt knows full well we should have won the league that year and I reckon that gets under his skin. He'd never admit it but I reckon deep down he knows it.

people said the same regarding the Liverpool teams in he 70s and 80s and alledged that George Courtney was in our pocket like Howard Webb and the mancs. People bemoaned the fact Liverpool would seemingly get stuffy last minute winners or penalties at the kop if a player fell over/like the mancs now.

its called clutching at straws in both cases, the best team wins the league and to alledge conspiracy is embarrassing to be honest.

I m sure Rafa got under his skin after Istanbul but he still rung Rafa to congratulate him (albeit through gritted teeth:yes:).

What would you have rather had ?

That one Euroupean Cup or 3 or 4 league titles?

ferguson is many things I detest but also know he was one of the first to ring peter Robinson in 1989 to offer support or assistance after hillsborough.

Well you can say that mate but its that attitude of its "clutching at straws" from so many thats allowed it to continue.

Ashley young has been ridiculously bad for diving this season on numerous occasions this year, its been highlighted quite a bit.

Hes quite rightly got a rep for it now. Yet over the past 2/3 weeks we've seen him win 2 ridiculously dubious penalties. The QPR one was one of the most scandalous decisions I've ever seen.

Now contrast that with Suarez who we all know does dive a bit in fairness, but who has got the square root of fuck all for months.

Both have bad well known reputations but one keeps on getting the decisions and the other gets fuck all.

Why is that mate? Answer me that in all seriousness why that is?

Its just simple logic, theres a bias there. Thats all it is. Theres no old fashioned, maybe the ref seen this, didn't see that bla bla....

Its just bias.

The sooner people accept it the better.
