Of course, Sabbath aren't shite, They are boss. They just aren't as good as AC/DC. 

I like them both but AC/DC are one trick ponies whereas Sabbath had a few more strings to their bow.

 

Back in Black isn't AC/DC's best album by the way, Let There Be Rock is & it isn't as good as Sabbath's first 5 LPs in my opinion.

Soundgarden would be the most notable one for me, which on reflection should have been enough for me to vote for them instead of New Order.

The one thing I take from this thread is the absolute dedication to duty, beyond the call even of the fella @Bruce Spanner. I didnt bother looking or voting at this thread, why would I? Its quite obvious a band such as Sabbath would walk over the likes of New Order.

 

But then I saw Paranoid rolled out as the example and my eyebrows were raised, anyone who likes Sabbath will tell you that pretty much any track from any of the first 5 Sabbath albums pisses over it. Fair enough, it should still be enough to point voters in the right direction. But it wasnt.

Never really listened to Black Sabbath before, other than Paranoid single. Come across the album recently and blown away. For that reason, they get my vote.

Please bump the Black Sabbath thread rather than this one in future, it's too painful.
