    Would You Want Retrospective Titles?

You can have my answer now, if you like. My answer is this: I'll take their titles and it will cost us nothing. Not even the fee for the presentations or the tour bus which i would appreciate if they would put up personally

Man City - the new bitters?

I think you were right first time around. Everyone does now see them for what they are.....cheats. They are going to struggle even more than they do already to increase their fan base, not just this country but more importantly to the owners, worldwide. Every sponsership deal, transfer purchase and set of accounts will be scutinised making it more difficult to be underhand. Even if they get away with this their reputation is fucked and the only way of improving it is to be 100% transparent and that means proving to spend within their means. If they have to do that its back to being a yo yo club

Man City - the new bitters?

I've been having a bit of fun on Facebook, nicking pictures off here and taking the piss. There is one mate who is a diehard City fan but always pretty reasonable and a good lad. He is a proper leftie and I have often joked that he should come on TLW as he would fit in really well. Anyway he finally reacted to my piss takes this morning and we had this interchange, his posts in italics - At least we've only got ourselves banned. Not like we've killed anyone is it If you know anything about Heysel you'll know we didnt. Come on Dean you have to take it, bin dippers, murderers, always the victim (hillsborough) its pay back time. In reality, City have been waiting for the farce that was UEFA's investigation to be over, so it can be moved on to an independent investigation. All Blues know how corrupt UEFA are, and how0 much they've tried to protect the cartel, by use of FFP. So let's see how it stands up in court. Let's see what a sham this investigation is. Blimey, and they thought we booed their fecking anthem before, just wait until the Real Madrid game, you won't be able to hear the bloody thing, over the booing of the crowd. CORRUPT BUNCH OF BASTARDS. You spent money you didnt earn and lied to cover it up. You broke the rules, whether you like the rules or not. Lance Armstrong had the best team around him yet took steroids to give him the edge, exactly what city have done. You're not the only ones though to be fair, its just that you got caught.

    Buying a house

I see an estate agents role as producing a brochure, putting something up in their window and sticking it on rightmove and zoopla where potential buyers will see it and arrange to come view. My role is to sell the fucking thing, I know the area and the property far better than the smiley twerp they send round

    Buying a house

Oh and another thing, do your own viewings rather than having some fucking hooray henry talking bollocks about your house and area.

    Buying a house

If you have a house on the market for say, 200k and after a month or so they suggest you drop to 180 in order to sell they are giving up commission, based on 1.5%, of £300 whilst expecting you to give up £19,700. To them, 2.7K is more valuable quickly than 3K longer term. As I say, they act in their own interest and will say anything to try to scare you in to what they want.

We're going through it at the moment, its always best to remember that whatever they advise is in their best interests not yours.

    Buying a house

Slippery bastards the lot of them. Tell you to put your house on at a low value and get their mates to buy it and sell it on at a profit or tell you your house is worth more than it is to get your business then badger you to fuck to reduce the price. Good luck

Articles 2 and 3 of the Irish constitution laid claim to ownership to Northern Ireland. Since revoked.

The New Leader of the Labour Party

I thought I would get negged to fuck and guess I still might. Just to clarify, I said a leaf out of Thatchers book, a little bit but by all means not all of it. Thatcher did, in my opinion, get some things right, playing to peoples aspirations to do better was one of them. The greed and the "fuck you" to those that couldnt move upwards were just a few of the reasons to hate her.

The New Leader of the Labour Party

My issue with the last socialist version of the Labour party is its understanding of the meaning of working class. There were a group of 5 of us who were mates through the school years and beyond who were all easily described as working class, living in rented or council housing with parents employed as lorry drivers, milkmen or in the building trade. None of us went to university, got great exam results or entered any of the professions but all ended up with our own businesses or self employed. None of us is by any means is rich. Each of us in our own way, without really meaning to, aspired to became middle class ,wanted low taxes and reward for risk and hard work and have control over lifes decisions. I realise this is just a snapshot of a few working class people going through the 80's and 90's and not particularly representative of the working class. Each of us were lucky not to come from bad backgrounds (i was the only one from a single parent family) and we are all not entirely stupid. My point, is that the perception for me and others is that Labour dont talk about aspirations or reward to the working class, wanting them to do well and have their own homes but talk about things like diversity, racism, fascism and funding public services. All those things need to be done or addressed and no-one would argue against that but Labour is, I believe, missing the point. It should also be talking about peoples aspirations and how it can help people achieve them. Dare I say it, but taking a leaf out of Thatchers book.
