Good news is that after long last they have managed to increase testing considerably over the recent period.

Agreed, this should've all been done from the off but it's at least good that since he announced the 100,000 pressure has been on and and testing and tracing might be working to a decent extent this month. The Guardian had this bit too :

Quote

The health secretary reiterated the government’s determination to recruit 18,000 people to help track the progress of the disease by mid-May, as part of what he called a “full-scale test, track and trace model”.

“If it needs to be bigger, we’ll scale it up as required,” he added. He also said the government will shortly release the app it has been trialling, which is aimed at identifying sufferers and warning those they have met.

If you watched the daily thing they do I'm sure that's already known, I watched a couple early on though and haven't gone back since so no idea.

We'd be fucked without a good enough amount of testing and tracing I think so if they end up doing that, even mostly from being presured to like several other things since this started, we might actually be on the way to making things a lot better than they've been. The tracing is going to have to work well enough though clearly, which is another thing we're going to have to wait and see on.

Why wasn't Hancock just honest. We nearly got there but just fell short but setting a high target made us push further and we will continue to push. Fudging figures changing boundaries to manipulate numbers purely to look better is disgusting. It's done with employment and crime figures it should be illegal. Wankers.

122k tests when 40k of those were just sent out.

50k+ UK death toll (ONR excess deaths) against reported 27k deaths, conveniently only counting the dead that have been tested (fuck all testing in March, most of April) instead of where C19 appears on the death certificate.

1 pair of gloves being counted as 2 PPE items

Does anyone still believe only 72 people died at Grenfell in a buliding with 120 flats?

I'm fed up with this shit. I've decided that I'm going to become a socialist activist in my spare time.

Listen you fucking idiot, I only 'gave my CV' as justification for stating that people were finding it extremely hard to get doctor's appointments. So the fact that my missus is a Medical Secretary, the fact that my sister runs a care agency and the fact that I work in healthcare (and not in a sales capacity for, your information) is relevant.

I have not once claimed to be a healthcare professional or an epidemiologist, could you please show me where I have while you're chucking about these accusations? Where have I even acted like a 'health pro'?

I have not once claimed to have any kind of medical insight other than those that I have gleaned from reading - you should try it.

I am allowed to be positive and still wish the government to face scrutiny. I am choosing not to look at the worst possible angle of every scenario.

I'm done with you. It's like arguing with a 6 year old. Good luck with the maths classes, you might want to see if you can do some extra comprehension classes too, you dumb fuck!

You really do seem to have some mad arse ideas about your own intellect to continue with all the dumb shit stuff.

I mean considering you say you are not in sales yet company house and your own linked in profile state sales director - are you sure you know what the fuck you are doing?

so your missus is a medical secretary - cool, not having a crack but it’s an admin / managerial role - again perfectly reasonable role in the healthcare industry. Your sister runs a care agency - ok again an admin / managerial role in the health care industry but once again, not a health care profession as we know it.

i do know I have to speak to IT agencies regularly as part of my job, and they generally know next to fuck all about anything technical - not a comment on your sister, a comment on IT&T agencies where i tend to have to validate my credentials and knowledge by an independent party.

so without knowing anything about any previous roles they may or may not have had, we can say at this point none of you would appear to have you know any experience in fucking healthcare.

You are administrators / suppliers to the healthcare industry.

Is this why you are looking at the bright side? I mean, health professionals in the NHS are up in arms and have been warned off social media for what they are saying, but soft shite in wales thinks it’s all fine.

as it’s Saturday, I’m not going to trawl your posts, for where I believe you have overstepped your level of expertise, but I’ll box off 15 minutes to it Monday dinner hour.

at no point have I stated you were an epidemiologist - I have made the statement epidemiologists appear not to be happy with the current situation, but a few balloons on the internet think it will all be fine.

have a good un soft shite, I’ll see yer in Berlin for a spelling bee and maths Olympiad if yer like.

Bon soir cockchops.

He’s a boring, fat, heavyweight plodder though. I’m an explosive light-middleweight. I can probably pile the weight on but nobody wants to see me chasing him around the ring.

And see his gay lover, Duncan Oldham, I’ll do him in between rounds.

Stealing his man and giving him a beating, tad harsh.

(1) Stalker!

Yes, when I was made a director of that company I was a Sales Director, yes my Linkedin profile says Sales Director, but please don't pretend you have a fucking clue what I do in my job, because you don't.

(2) So now you are telling me that someone working in a doctor's surgery is not qualified to comment on how hard it is to get an appointment with a doctor?

(3) Shows you don't know what you're fucking talking about.

(4) Never did I claim that I was qualified to perform brain surgery, you fucking dick! I do work in healthcare, and this offers me a certain insight that someone who doesn't work in healthcare doesn't have. Having said that, I only mentioned this when I was talking about getting a fucking appointment with a doctor. I didn't try and use this experience to justify a thesis on how to treat Coronavirus with pickled fucking cabbage.

(5) I'm choosing to have a positive attitude. Imagine being offended by that!

US authorises use of anti-viral drug Remdesivir

Fascinating read here on the risky research backed by Dr Fauci.   Fauci appears towards the end of the article and seems to be in bed with Gilead, who manufacture Remdesivir.

The lead researchers of the 2015 research continue their work. In fact, one recently tried to put a coronavirus in a fruit bat. Another collaborates with the for-profit pharmaceutical company, Gilead Sciences, in development of drugs against coronaviruses, even as he enjoys millions of taxpayer dollars for his research, mostly via the NIAID. Dr. Anthony Fauci has directed the NIAID since 1984. He also promotes Gilead. During his tenure at NIAID, the federal committees that weigh the risks and benefits of gain-of-function research have been anonymous, closed-door, and without citizen oversight.

They are all very quick to blame the Chinese government for making the problem worse by lying to everyone, funny how they don't hold themselves to the same standard they expect from China.

Could you sum this up for us? Fauci and Gilead created covid 19 to sell remdesivir?

Donald Trump invented it so he could defeat it with his bare hands in time for the polls to open.
