The Coconut Grove has just been demolished. No idea what they are building on it's cold, dead corpse.

And can you afford to miss the 50p watered down drinks at Scott's every Wednesday?

the inside of this pub was done out like an old tram. I must've had a drink in here when I was about 16.

That looks like my Uncle’s electrickery van outside. He passed away last month at 88. Time flies, money flies and blow flies.

If anyone's anywhere near Mann Island in the next couple of weeks, it's worth dropping into the Open Eye gallery. They've got an exhibition on (until the 25th, I think) of old pictures of the Pier Head, the Ferries and Seacombe from the 80s and 90s.

Yeah, Tom Woods. I love his stuff.

Amazed at that.is it still there and if so where is entrance/exit?

Yeah, its just an underground carpark under Walker and Horton House(ie it's in the basement) in Exchange Flags.

Previously these two buildings were just known as Derby House.

You get in via a ramp in Exchange Street (under Horton House)and out via Rumford Street - next to the Battle of Atlantic Museum.
