All this handing out new contracts mid-season needs to be knocked on the head, they've all been shit since getting them. I'm not sure why I give a fuck, the players clearly don't. They just churn out the same weak performances against any team that shows a bit of grit in their own midfield and our defenders turn to shit against pace. We'd get fucking hammered and embarrassed in the CL unless we spent huge amounts, something FSG won't do. I have a feeling we'll still be having the same discussions in three or four years, probably under a different manager as no doubt Klopp will end up carrying the can for weak minded shit players.

 

Think I'll stay away from the football forum until our next game, going to be a shit fest on here from the usual suspects and I can't be arsed, I'll leave them to moan until their hearts are content. Football can fuck off until our next game against Arsenal.

The one glaring mark against Klopp is that he has not fixed the defence -- but then with Lucas habitually playing centre back, an aging attacking midfielder at left back with zero cover, and Clown A/Clown B in goals, it's little wonder.

We need a centre back in summer to form a partnership with Matip.

We need a commanding central midfielder.

We need another winger.

Four very good players, minimum. Then a left back and possibly a goalkeeper, it all depends how much we have to spend. It's concerning that since we've made headway with the new stand the transfer business seems sparse. Some of it might be down to Klopp being patient and waiting for players he wants to be available. I suppose the summer will tell us what we need to know.

 

Top 4 is gone mate, I'm calling that now. There is absolutely zero fight in this lot, and the manager isn't getting a free pass either as he's the one continually sending this lot out and they look surprised when a shit team gets in their faces and we have no way to counter it. 

 

We need 5 players minimum, all specialists in their positions, and have the character and leadership qualities we clearly lack.
