On this showing we should be on enough goals against Brighton next week to overhaul Chelsea's better difference. The Seagulls are sre truly fucking woeful, a disgraceful outfit.

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

Lineker in today's Guardian on more illustrious Everton history. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/oct/23/gary-lineker-diego-maradona-mixed-up-mess-lovely-guy " Everton were league runners-up and lost the FA Cup final to Liverpool, which still stings. “The most ridiculous thing was both teams went on an open-top bus around the city. Liverpool’s was in front with two trophies. We followed with none and no fans. Peter Reid said: ‘Fuck this’ and got off. I should have done the same but was too nice. It was an act of supreme cruelty. Desperate. Everton won the league the years before I joined and after I left, so maybe it was me."

That was an abysmal display by the young lads.

A season's worth of luck for Mendy and Chelsea in that game. Tuchel's bores looked remarkably drained in the last fifteen to twenty minutes. He's geared them up to play on the break once they have the lead but they seem to lack the energy that game needs. Fuck 'em, anyway - long way to go and we have to keep our level up.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

There does seem to be something stirring within the ranks of the old 'one nation' Tories but the 'Red Wall' new blues are pig headedly refusing to accept that they've fucked up, or are too stupidly proud to admit they've been conned. The sad fact is that it will be the establishment that kills off Johnson - not the electorate.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I find it absolutely baffling. Even factoring in their adherence to either a political ideology or a person who embodies the peculiar brand of Britishness/Englishness that appeals to patriotic proles and patricians, the sheer incompetence, dishonesty and corruption of this PM and his government must regsiter somewhere in their consciousness. I hope it does, but I have doubts.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

They're all quite retarded but it is the language they use that is so ridiculous, a woman says "it is what it is at the end of the day". Always good to encounter deep thinkers.

And journalists will tread carefully when they're reporting on the bar codes, they won't want an invite to the Saudi embassy to discuss tactics with the Sheik.

Man City - the new bitters?

A referee being influenced by the Anfield crowd. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11237166/what-referee-jon-moss-said-to-assistant-ed-smart-for-controversial-tottenham-penalty-against-liverpool

Man City - the new bitters?

Quite right. The third case you mention was actually a case of a misheard shout of "you Manc bastard!" to an Oldham player. Lots of early judgements were made but the truth was heard and accepted. Now we'll wait and see.

Man City - the new bitters?

Read my first line. But before I condemn any liverpool fan as a 'twat' or 'disgusting' I will wait to see the evidence of the alleged act. If any cunt spat on me I'd break their face, or get battered trying. Yet I wouldn't act unless i was completely sure i was attacking the right person and knew they had deliberately aimed their saliva at me. City have presented an image of the person they accuse but not an image of the person actually spitting. Unless they have completely reliable witnesses - and plenty of them - then they have a picture of a fan at a football match. As or dismissing social media, i think we can see the damage lies and unfounded accusations can do to the reputation of not just football fans but a city. For The Shitrag substitute Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. The defamation of Liverpool and its people has been caused by lies in the past and I'll always give the benefit of the doubt to the fans ..... unless the case is proven against them/her.

Man City - the new bitters?

In total agreement. Let them produce the evidence, though. The 'disgusting Scousers' tag is trending on social media so these accusers had best be able to prove their accusation. In light of the hysterical, childish behaviour by their manager it wouldn't be beyond belief that his backroom staff were behaving like hysterical twats too, using a fabrication to justify themselves.
  18. If City can't beat us on a day like that then then it doesn't say a lot about them. We were fucking awful at times, merely mediocre at other times. Fab' had a stinker, bit like last week and the general level of the midfield was poor. But we got a draw and, surprisingly, should have won it.

Listening to this speech we could be back in the Blair years.
  21. We should have won, we deserved to win, but we didn't due to fucking awful defending. We'll sort it out and move on. Nothing to say about Brentford because I don't give a fuck about them. On to Porto and then City. All will be well.
