  1. Arsenal doing what any competent team should do to this Chelsea side. Game going as expected. I actually think it's a bit dead and can't understand what that thick twat, McCoist, is getting all wet about.
  2. I detest shite like Wolves; almost devoid of talent, lacking in spirit and organized by a pub league standard manager. Arsenal couldn't have had a more comfortable return to league football. Without playing well, Arsenal were hardly challenged throughout the game. If the title is still in the balance on the final day then we have a guaranteed three points from these Black Country ballbags.
  3. There some right stupid cunts in the world and it seems the vast majority post on this site, normally when Liverpool have had a less than perfect result. One horrendous pass and a nonentity scoring the sort of goal that he wouldn't even dream about - along with a good dozen of wasted opportunities by our players - and the keyboard m,anagers are offering their dismal minded opinions on how our season lies in ruins. "We've ran out of steam" is the most moronic take today. We've totally dominated games all season and today we dominated, technically and physically, the opposition. If this is us 'running out of steam' then fuck knows how badly prepared the rest of the league must be. Twat of a scoreline today but there is really no need for the whining bullshit and white flag waving.
  4. Gordon manufactures two penalties in a Sunday league standard game and he's lauded as man of the match in 'Fletch's' "game of the season". That Saudi investment looks a very long term punt.
  5. "Both go in high". McAllister's feet don't leave the ground. They are actually denying the evidence of their own eyes. Complete fucking farce.
  6. Don't forget the unconscious Don Corleone suddenly pulling his hand away from a door jamb as Michael moves the bed during the hospital scene. Still take first film over the second; time shifts and the obviously plastic gold phone wrecked Godfather 2 - even though I still found it quite brilliant . Still think the production should have shelled out for a real gold phone.
  7. Alisson's fuck ups cost us the game, poor as we played. Arsenal are nothing to fear for either us or the Oilers and their ordinariness was being managed until God's goalie went fucking mental. The league is still ours to lose ..... and we won't do that. For the guys on their periods, soak it up.
  8. So many people must have read that bit where he states quite categorically that he will leave Liverpool as soon as Klopp departs - and take every other player with him. I haven't actually read such a statement, but it must be fact. Judging by the tsunami of virgin piss gushing from a lot of online supporters big Virgil has obviously packed his bags. Can't wait for the 'Connor Bradley eyes move abroad because of mentor's departure' headline in the coming weeks.
  9. At a time when truth in our media is endangered to the point of extinction the loss of John Pilger is patricularly painful. A great journalist.
  10. In his first press conference as our manager he was asked if Liverpool was the biggest club he had ever managed. He paused before saying that he didn't want to upset anyone in Milan. Before that I was livid that he had been appointed, after that I couldn't look at the cunt. I hated him then but, after looking at his fraill, rheumy eyed, saggy old man's face on the touchline yesterday - looking alternatively baffled and amused by what he was watching - I realised that I still hated the cunt.
  11. And watch the IDF blame this attack on Hamas - just like when they bomb schools and hospitals because, they say, Hamas are storing weapons there. And our media never question the Israeli account of events. If I said why I thought that was the case the antisemitism accusations would follow.
  12. Any extended ban would be seen by some as further evidence of a bias against Liverpool by the authorities. In my opinion Van Dijk exercised tremendous self control under the circumstances and even the single game ban is extreme. Our captain may well pick up a big fine. Anyone criticising Van Dijk for an angry reaction have either never played the game or are just being mischieviously obtuse.
  13. Thanks for that. As long as its something rooted in a cinematic dramatisation of 19th century New York slum life then I suppose it's acceptable.
  14. Rangers fans with a banner of Bill The Butcher from Gangs of New York before the game against PSV. Other than the fact that they're fucking idiots, can anyone explain why they would have this banner?
  15. Last night the same source stated that the player had agreed to join Liverpool. If this has some truth to it then Liverpool should take him through every legal and footballing arbitration process until he sees the light and sticks to his word. If he refuses to honour his agreement then he shoould be forced to read every post in the Liverpool Way transfer threads, then he'll realise the psychopathic rage he has engendered.
  16. Pre-season friendly in a land where the offside rule is only appiled sporadically, some casual stuff against a team who decided it was a CL Final, missed chances at both ends, brilliance and bullshit from both teams and Doak looking quite good. Can't be too concerned or enthused by any of it. Wait for the real stuff to start and then, depending on how you're predisposed, be enthralled or just be a whining shitbag.
  17. The Great Beauty (La Grande Bellezza) Italy (Italia)
  18. This Israeli examination of the trial is available on You Tube. I have a copy of 'Perdition' by Jim Allen. If it has a fault it's that it is quite meticulous and tough going for a casual audience. Kastner is a controversial figure for both Zionists and non-Zionists to assess - he saved the lives of many Jews but but, it is argued, by assisting, the Nazis. Allen's play questioned if Kastner - described by Eichmann as a 'fanatical Zionist' who he actually admired - selected only Jews who shared his poltical viewpoint. The enforced censoring of Perdition represents a very dark time for freedom of expression in British culture and is worthy of further examination. v
  19. Just noticed it's already been done. Apologies.
